Rorouni Kenshin Returns To CN

Postby mitsuki lover » Sat Oct 23, 2004 1:54 pm

Starting tonight Rorouni Kenshin returns to Cartoon Network. It will replace
Gundam Seed at the 10:30 p.m. time slate following Dragonball GT.
Meanwhile Gundam Seed will air Friday nights early Saturday mornings at
1 a.m. following Duck Dodgers.
This means that well it is good news for Kenshin fans it is bad news for
.hack fans as it means that .hack//legend will be cancelled for now.

Ya know, there's this new technological phenomenon sweeping the nation called a DVD. Ever consider it? :hits_self

Indeed, but there's the equally horrendous invention called money and budgeting that's keeping from it. ^_^

Yay!^__^
For both Kenshin being on again, and for .hack//LOTT being off the air. That series was an insult to .hack//SIGN.
Well,at least maybe this time, they'll get to the last however many there are left episodes.

I read the manga and I really at least wanted to check out the Kenshin anime, but I've never seen the DVD's anywhere. There's hope for me yet! ;)

Personally I think that it's a bit of compensation for the fact that CN is only going to have Inuyasha 4 days a week from now on.Too bad that CN
didn't decide to bring back Samurai Jack as well.In a perfect world Rorouni
Kenshin would be at 10:30 followed by Samurai Jack at 11:00 and Inuyasha
at 11:30.

Ooh, I saw it! I had previously only seen one or two random episodes, so I'm really glad I get to see it from the beginning. It was really cool! ^^
Think happy thoughts.

I am so happy! I am not gonna have to spend too much money if they keep on with it. All I got to do is set in the tape... Only for my own use, of course. ;)
I have so forgotten a lot about the anime, so it'll be fun to watch.

Have more faith in them. The ENTIRE series has been dubbed, and factoring in its proximity to Adult Swim, there's a reasonable chance they'd go past the first two arks.

*comes running in with arms held high above head, screaming and hollering, spins around a few times, bashes forehead against a random doorframe, and runs back out into a random hallway that has suddenly appeared, screaming and whooping the whole time until she runs so far down the hallway that her voice finally dies out*

Random Parakeet in the room: It was the first episode...it was really funny. Kenshin's such a klutz!
When Kaoru first saw him in the beginning and tried to hit him with her wood sword, Kenshin did this fancy flip over her and landed on a board hanging over a fence in slow motion, all fancy-shmancy-like, but the board broke just as his sandal touched it and he fell onto the ground. He had a bucket on his head and was going "Aaoooooooo, aaaaooooorgh!" Then he said that he was a wanderer three times in a row: "I'm a wanderer. I'm merely a wanderer. A wandering swordsman, that I am! *shakes his head to throw off the bucket*"

Heart of Sword laughed for most of eternity, partly because Kenshin had done something super-klutzy----ruining his fancy move----and because he'd said the same thing three times in a row.

Then, Kaoru was yelling at him, and Kenshin's eyes were huge and white. She was pushing him back with his sakabatou and getting in his face and he looked very "Oro"-like. Then the whistle blew, Kaoru threw Kenshin's sword into the air, it whirled around in the air a few times with Kenshin underneath it looking scared, then he held out his sheath and the sword fell perfectly into it!

And later, Kenshin got in trouble with Kaoru for accidentally seeing her in the bath (he thought she was trying to commit suicide), and she locked him up in a room all day as punishment and finally came back to check on him at night (he had already gotten out somehow, though). It was really funny...
Does anyone else here think that the first episode of the anime was funnier than the first part in the manga? :D XD
Heart of Sword's Rhapsody

Money, get away
Get a good job with good pay and you're okay
And all and all you're just another brick in the wall
Shoutin’ in the street gonna take on the world some day
But Bismallah will not let me go
Because I'll see you on the dark side of the moon

Tommy used to work on the docks
Union's been on strike
Bright eyes burning like fire
And exposing every weakness
However carefully hidden by the kids

Who will love a little Sparrow
Who's traveled far and cries for rest
Spare him his life from this monstrosity

I've seen a million faces and I've rocked them all
And if the band youre in starts playing different tunes
We will we will rock you
We will we will rock you!

i brush against up my freckles that i hated so
but life goes on and i heavy a little sigh for you
its heavy the love that i would share with you
then it dissolved like it was just a sugar cube
now the little pain sitting in my heart
has shrunk in a bit, but it really does hurt me now
Those silly horoscopes, I
Guess I can't trust them after all

if we can get further away
i wonder what it would be like - yay!
i'd be so happy! Inside my heart!

oht he memories! I have are beautiful in my mind
but they dont feed the hugner deep inside my soul
and tonight i thought, i'd be sitting in my sorrow
I'd be just sitting in my sorrow.
And now I must wonder wonder why
What did it really mean to you
I just can't see it anymore!
I just can't see it anymoreeeeeee
ohhhhh-ohhh ohh ohhh ohhh ohhhhh!!!!

yes, i memorized the entire song. or atleast the english dub of it

Kenshin is back. Well it's about time. "That it is." I just wished they started from where they left off from. But I guess I'm just satisfied they started showing it again. "That I am."
