Where's all the cash? (Coming from)

It occured to me that the server CAA runs on must cost something... So who pays for it?

On a side note, what do the Japanese characters on the sides of the standard CAA skin mean?

I can read some Japanese and I make out that it says Christian Anime Alliance. As far as who pays for it, Ashley probably does, or its from a free server. That's my best guess!

Predictable. Thanks for your help.

As to the funds, does CAA take donations? (Many other sites take PayPal donations to help support the running costs.)

You are welcome! HEHE I can make out most of the characters so it wasn't that hard! I wonder if they do take donations. CAA isn't geocities.com/ashley'ssite like mine  so I guess they have a domain! Not like me. My site isn't even about anything that I remember. And your sig is from gundam wing right? The picture with Heero and others.

I would be curious to know the answer to this question as well.
Every year in Uganda, innumerable children simply. . . disappear. These children all stolen under the cover of darkness from their homes and impressed into the guerilla armies of the LRA [Lord's Resistance Army]. In the deserts of Uganda, they are forced to witness the mindless slaughter of other children until they themselves can do nothing but kill. Kill. These children, generally ranging from ages 5-12, are brainwashed into murdering in the name of the resistance and into stealing other children from their beds to suffer the same fate.

Because of this genocide of innocence, hundred and hundreds of children live every night sleeping in public places miles from their homes, because they know that if the do not-- they will disappear. They will become just another number in this genocide to which the international community has chosen to turn a blind eye. They will become, in affect, invisible-- Invisible Children.

But there are those who are trying to fight against this slaughter of Uganda's children. They fight to protect these "invisible children." Please, help them help a country full of children who know nothing by fear. Help save the innocence. For more information concerning how you can help and how you can get an incredible video about this horrific reality, visit the Invisible Children home page.

No, the server is not free, but it is taken care of. We also appreciate the thought of donations, but we don't accept them for a number of reasons. ^^

Yes, "taken care of" -- as in, don't worry about it. ^_^

ActuallY i think i know...
The reason why the mods say "it's taken care of" is becuase Straylight sacraficed both his Hands for a lifetime worth of hosting, that's why he's never on anymore... The poor man can't type :sniffle: You Monsters.

ROFL. And I do mean that.

Are the Magical Anime Monies Gnomes related to the First Volume Manga Gnomes?

OH NO! POOR STRAYLIGHT! :sniffle:
How could you?!!!
WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE! >O<
*hands Straylight some tuna*
Tuna: *splat* *falls on the floor*
If Straylight had hands he could hand you some tuna too, but he can't!!!

And now the Magical Anime Monies Gnomes can't back us up because they are immobilized by your terrible cruelty!!! T_T

OH NO! What if all servers took hands a s payment..then...then...everyone would be handless and then they would cut off other peoples' hands and then CAA would be useless because no one could type and then I couldn't play piano anymore and no one would be able to draw anime or manga anymore and then my life would be ruined and then everything would shrivel up and die from the animelessness!!!! :waah!:

And that is my impression of someone who is dog-tired and stayed up until 1:05 AM posting on the CAA forums. ^_^

Look, a guy traded his immortal sole for free hosting forever, so you should be grateful! He lost the only shoe that wouldn't wear out.
The cake used to be a lie like you, but then it took a portal to the deception core.
