Toonami

How many other people wish Toonami would come back to the weekdays?
for randomness:How long has Toonami been on?

Toonami's been around a loooong time. but they didn't really start getting popular until like 1997 or 1998.

:( I wish it was back on weekdays. it was so much easier to watch it then.

I voted to leave it on Saturdays b/c if it was on everyday i would get nothing done. I would sit in front of my tv all day and wouldn't get any homework done,. Plus i need need to go outside a lot, being inside all day i feel confined. :thumb:
I believe toonami has been on for about 4+ yrs am i correct?

They ought to have the new stuff come on Saturdays and show reruns on weekdays. That way everyone is happy.

Toonami's lineup is less than stellar now in my opinion. When they had shows like Robotech, Gundam, Ronin Warriors, Voltron, G-Force it was manna from heaven...almost.;)

I miss Rurouni Kenshin and G Gundam. Just any of the old shows.

I liked when they had Yu Yu hakusho followed by Rurouni Kenshin. Those were the days... (about a year and a half ago, lol.).

I SOOO miss Toonami on the weekdays! I picked weekdays and Saturday. I agree with the idea of reruns on weekdays and new stuff on Saturday. Toonami rocks! I wish it would get a better lineup, though. The only thing I really care about watching on it at the moment is Yu Yu Hakusho. I miss Dragonball Z and Rurouni Kenshin and all those cool shows! Miguzi must die!

Is Toonami/Adult Swim ever going to show Fullmetal Alchemist?

I don't miss Toonami. They kind of killed it with endless DBZ (No offense, DBZ fans, but once through the series was enough for me), so I lost interest. I don't mind Miguzi, either, because I like Totally Spies and Teen Titans.

Yeah... those DBZ episodes did get boring. It took the whole 30 minutes of our time to be five of theirs sometimes.

While I voted that I'd LIKE Toonami to be on both weekdays and Saturdays, I'd only want that if they got a LOT of new shows.

*insert more flashbacks to "the Dragon Ball z re-run channel*

I mean, I liked the show fine, but that was only the first 500 times I saw each episode. If they can't keep a decent stream of new material available, then they probobly should keep Toonami limited to once a week. (IF, I said. IF)

Over here Toonami is an actual 24/7 channel, not just something on at weekends.

Is there any channel that's entirely composed of anime?

as much as I liked toonami being on weekdays, I've adjusted quite well to the every saturday night shows. I dunno... I remember really liking it throughout the week, but also getting kinda annoyed, because everyday I would have to watch like 2 hours of shows after school  this way after the school week is over and I'm up late anyway on sat. I can just relax and watch my anime shows....

It is so unfair. Are you serious, skynes? In Ireland, you have all the luck!!! I think in the US we should petition to get Toonami all day.

Actually there is, but it's only available on cable right now, and isn't in every area of the US yet. It's called Anime Network. and I think it has a website of the same name too. go check it out! (I don't get it cause I have satellite, *cries* but I'll live.)

I think it be nice if they had Toonami on Mon.-Sat.
Monday-Friday they could show some of the classic shows that have since been cancelled by CN like Rorouni Kenshin,Tenchi Moyu,Sailor Moon, etc.
Saturday could be the time for the new stuff like Ravemaster,Gundam Seed,
Dragonball GT,etc.
I have to say Fridays on CN aren't my favorites. The only good shows they
run then are:Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends,What's New Scooby Doo?
Duck Dodgers,.hack//legend and Cyborg 009.
Well I think it will get a bit better once CN starts airing the new
Puffy Amiyumi cartoon.
But yeah, overall I think it be nice to have more anime on CN.

I don't get to watch a huge number of the Toonami stuff on Saturday...it's just on too late. ^^; I need to get Tivo.
Of course, the only thing I can think of that I'm really interested in seeing is Gundam Seed. I think the rest of the stuff I want to see is Adult Swim.

I don't mind Miguzi too much, though..I mean...Teen Titans! Totally Spies isn't too bad...if it wasn't so GIRLY...
