Is Evangelion profane to the Christina Religion?

Hi, I'm a fan of a lot of manga/anime and also of Evangelion. But after I've seen every episode(not the movies because in Italy they didn't arrived yet) I think that is a little bit profane to our religion, isnt't it?

Maybe Hideaki Anno or other guys from the staff could be Jews? Beacuse me and some of my friends think about this, and the plot of Evangelion take inspiration from the Kabala, that is not a Christian book, but a book only from Jews, and also not every Jews believe to it. If someone doesn't know what is the Kabala, is a book wich take everthing from the numbers, (example, 7 is the perfect number, the number of God; 666devil's number, because is 3 the trinity, but made of 6 that is the imperfect number. ecc..)
