Eh call me a little soft here or whatever, I just thought it was cute and couldnt help to think of an anime couple when I read it:

I just thought that was so cool, I couldnt help but think of Kyo and Tohru when I read it. Why? Cause Kyo always seems so hard on Tohru, and it just seems like the way he would respond to her if she ever asked him something like that. Not that she would, she is too modest to ask such a thing . . . but anyway . . . I thought it was cute ^^'

It reminds me of Heero Yuy and Relelna Peacecraft/Darlain from Gundam Wing. I could really see Heero saying that.....but also...Kyo is a good candidate for it too. ^^,

Mmm...nahhh. Thinking it? I wouldn't put it past Heero. SAYING it? No way. Not Heero. He can face down an army of MS, but exposing his feelings like that? I doubt it.

True, there's an awful lot of drama tucked into the dialogue, but I think it's fine for fictional sappiness. I can very much picture Kyo saying that to Tohru but he wouldn't be looking at her when he said it. More than likely, he'd be getting angry at himself for saying it at all.
