Funniest Songs You've Heard

Postby RoyalWing » Mon Sep 20, 2004 1:46 pm

(has this been done before? Sorry!)

I would like to know, what is/are the funniest songs you've ever heard?

Mine are:

"Bohemian Rhapsody" by Queen (it's so good and catchy but I can't help but laugh, everytime! The singing is just so funny!)

"Beast Girl" by Boogaboo (this song... no one heard of it, but I feel so embarassed for the guy who sing it. It's just so silly!)

What about you?

Five Iron Frenzy has alot of funny songs

Glitch's Photostream

He wants them to learn to walk and must therefore take away His hand; and if only the will to walk is really there, He is pleased even with their stumbles.

Healing hands of God have mercy on our unclean souls
once again. Jesus Christ, Light of the World, burning
bright within our hearts forever. Freedom means love
without condition, without beginning or an end. Here's
my heart, let it be forever Yours, only You can make
every new day seem so new.
Every New Day - On Distant Shores - Five Iron Frenzy

Nail pierced hands they run with blood
A splitting brow forced by the thorns
His face is writhing with the pain yet it's comforting to me
Passion - Kutless

yup, they do.

Weird Al's "I'm Fat" --parody off of Michael Jackson's song.
N'Adequate's whole cd. They did some paradies on N'Sync and Backstreet. Sooo funny!
Weird Al's song, um, *trying to remember* oh yeah, "Trigger Happy"
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone
And so hold on when there is nothing left in you
Except the Will which says to them: 'Hold on!' ...you'll be a Man, my son!

A Perfect Circle has a funny song called The Nurse Who loved me. The song is about a patient who thinks a nurse is in love with him. It has all these stringed instruments in the background and sounds like it should be played at a wedding. The chorus says "She's got everything I need, some pills in a little cup," It's really funny.
"Relax, turn around, and take my hand." Tool
"Heir Kommt Die Sonne." Rammestein
"Now the world is gone, I'm just one. Oh please God help me." Metallica
"Are You Ready?!?" KoRn
"All and all your just another brick in the wall." Pink Floyd.
The downfall of society will be society itself.
Rap is the malignant tumor of the music industry.

The ending theme of Excel-Saga is up there, along with:

I Love My Lips;
His Cheeseburger;
and The Yodeling Veterinarian of the Alps.

"This is a song, for your poor sick penguin!
He has a fever! And his toes are blue!
But if I sing, to your poor sick penguin,
He will feel better! In a day or two!..."

"Bulbous Bouffant" by the Vestibules. It's hilarious, especially for those who love words. I've known people who had to listen to it twice because they started laughing too loud to hear halfway through.

Oh, yeah, some of KJ-52's music is funny! Like the Mountain Dew song and Ya' Bref Stank.
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone
And so hold on when there is nothing left in you
Except the Will which says to them: 'Hold on!' ...you'll be a Man, my son!

Theres a hole at the bottem of the sea,
Theres a hole at the bottem of the sea.
Theres a hole...
Theres a hole...
Theres a hole at the bottem of the sea.

Theres a log in the hole at the bottem of the sea,
Theres a log in the hole at the bottem of the sea.
Theres a log...
Theres a log...
Theres a log in the hole at the bottem of the sea.

Alright, it's a long song and some of you probably know it, so I'm just gonna stop here.

Anything by Weird Al... Preferrably "Albequrque" and "The Saga Begins".

I also like Bob River's Twisted Christmas... I know lots of the songs on there are naughty but some of them are just hysterical! (e.g. "I Came Upon A Road Kill Deer" to the tune of "It Came Upon A Midnight Clear")

I prefer "The restroom door said gentlemen" personally.

But yeah, Bob Rivers is one of the funnier (albeit cruder at times) parody artists.

the funniest song I can think of is
Offspring - Come Out and Play

it's not a funny song, but they put it with a Halo movie. The movie wasn't that funny either, but when the song was added to it, everything was hillarious!

 Yeah, somehow The Offspring goes pretty well with an FPS game like Halo.

Anything by Weird Al, especially "Fat" and "Eat It." I also like that Veggietales song Larry did about how he would feel if his lips left him (it's particularly funny since he doesn't have lips!).

I'm a little suprised that no one has mentioned anything by They Might Be Giants yet: "Particle Man", "Ana Ng", "Expermental Film", and "Why Does the Sun Shine? (The Sun Is a Mass of Incandescent Gas)" are all hillarious. "Opening Act" by Ugly Duckling and the untitled bonus track on The Late Great PFR are right up there in the laugh department. Paul McCarty's Back in the US special showed a strange little tune that ended in a punk rock version of "Hey Jude" that was hillarious, but I don't think it's on CD anywayre (too bad)

For a different kind of funny, though, I also have to throw in "I Can't Get Enough Of You" by Erky Grant & The Earwigs, "Questa Volta" by The Yardbirds, and "Paralyzed" by The Legendary Stardust Cowboy are some of the absolute WORST songs you will ever hear in your life. Great fun if you're into that sort of thing.
