Gosh, I don't think I've ever cried seeing an anime...although I think I almost did when in Trigun:

Haibane Renmei, the last two minutes of ep. 12, and the last half of ep. 13. Those of you who have seen it know why.

Isn't this an old conversation that exists in another thread? I mean, I know i"ve posted about crying in Grave of the Fireflies and Sailormoon before... In fact, that's what prompted me to make my thread about sad movies...

I got a little misty eyed at the end of Grave Of The Fireflies, Voices Of A Distant Star, Millennium Actress, and yes, Tiny Snow Frairy Sugar.

I cried during One Piece when
Shanks lost his arm, when Chou-chou fought Richie for the pet food store, when Usopp left Syrup Village, when Sanji left the Baratie, when Bellemere was shot, and when Hiruluk died.
And of course I cried over Grave of the Fireflies. I also cried over Kiki's Delivery Service but I'm not sure why!

Look for me at Anime Weekend Atlanta!

I've never actually cried after watching an anime, but the two animes that made me come close were:
-Grave of the Fireflies
-Kimi ga Nozomu Eien (KGNE)

I don't think I've cried at all of these, but I found them very moving.

Cowboy Bebop
In Waltz for Venus when Spike has to tell Rico's sister that he's dead.
In Speak Like a Child while they're watching the video from Faye's past. Little Faye's cheer of "Don't lose Me!" always gets me, because of course, Faye has lost her since she can't remember.
Irresponsible Captain Tylor OVA
The very end of the series when they blow up the Soyokaze, and everyone salutes, even Mifune and Toji.
Now and Then, Here and There
When Shu stops Sara from killing her unborn child.
When Lala Ru asks Shu if they can watch another sunset together before she fades away.
Rahxephon
When Ayato accidently kills Asahina, even though he was fighting to protect her, and then realizes what he's done.
Trigun
Lost July, when the women realizes that vash is the stranger that helped her after her parents died, and all this time she had hated him.
Out of Time, at Brad's death, he looks at his hands and sees how much he's grown, but Vash has stayed the same.
And of course Sin and Live Through have already been mentioned, after he kills Legato.
Yeah, I know. I'm a total sap.

Noir is the one anime that did that to me (though, Fruits Basket and SaiKano came close). It happened when I was thinking about Kirika's pain in episode 21, and also 22 and 24.

I cried in Trigun for the parts other people have mentioned and eva... although I think for eva it wasn't really related to the show... or at least it only made me cry because I was already in a crying kind of mood. I got mad at Akito instead of crying for Fruits Basket though.
