The cure for the common cold! (And flu!)

Curing the common cold and flu.

In 1928 Richard Simmons, M.D. hypothisized that colds and flu virus enter through the ear canal. His findings were dismissed by the medical community. According to Dr. Simmons, contrary to what you may think or have been taught about how you catch the flu or the cold there is only one way that you can catch the two, and that's via the ear canal not through the eyes or nose or mouth as most have believed. Keeping your fingers out of your ears will greatly reduce your chances of catching them, but then again these two are microscopic and can be air-born and may land on or even in your ear. Once they have entered the inner-ear (middle-ear) there they begin their breeding process, and from there they have access to every avenue throughout our body to travel to and to infect and make us sick.

In 1938 German researchers had great success using hydrogen peroxide in dealing with colds and the flu. Their data has been ignored (maybe surpressed) for over 60 years.

For many years people, in the know, have been attacking the Influenza(s) Virus & Common Cold where they begin their breeding process and not where they have already have spread to and that's the inner-ear (middle). It IS important to begin treatment as soon as symptoms appear.

We have found remarkable results in curing the flu & cold within 12 to 14 hours when administering a few drops of 3% Hydrogen Peroxide (h2o2) into each infected ear, (sometimes only one ear is infected) The h2o2 starts working within 2 to 3 minutes in killing the flu or cold; there will be some bubbling and in some cases mild stinging occurs. Wait until the bubbling & stinging subside (usually 5 to 10 min) then drain onto tissue and repeat other ear. A bottle of Hydrogen Peroxide in 3% solution is available at any drug store for a couple of dollars.

To cure the flu you'll need to repeat this process two or more times at one or two hours intervals until there is no more bubbling when putting hp in ear(s)

The above is NOT A HOAX. How do I know this? Because yesterday I had a chance to try it personally. I woke up Sunday morning with a horrible sore throat. Having read about this before, I decided to try. Now, the first time, the effects were only slightly noticable, but the second time, almost completely knocked the sore throat right out. Right before the second use, I literally could not speak at all. After administering the Hydrogen Peroxide, I could speak again without pain almost instantly. As of today, I am 100% well with NO symptoms whatsoever. It's literally as if I never had anything wrong with me. This is definately something worth a shot. REMEMBER, THE PROCESS SHOULD BE REPEATED MORE THAN ONCE. THE FLU WILL TAKE LONGER TO CURE.

Wouldn't surprise me if it was true. The medical community makes tens of thousands of pounds/dollars out of those sad Cold Remedy things like Sudafed and Benylin and Day Nurse etc. Why would they want to release a cheap cold cure that works?

Cheap working cold cure = little money

Ineffective expensive cold cure = LOTS of money!

I can't possibly see how the pathophysiology would work, though. Assuming that the ears are a major entry point (I'm not saying this is true), all you're doing is preventing further entry of virus. There's no change to what's already *in* the cells of the respiratory tract and replicating, which is the major source of what will be keeping you ill.

I'm very suspicious of "suppressed results" because usually there turns out to be a reason why they haven't been actively promulgated, i.e., they're incorrect ;)

I think I'm going to trust the doctor on this one...I'm not putting hydrogen peroxide in my ears.

If there was a simple cure for the cold, i wouldn't have gotten sick 5 times my freshman year and lost my voice for 49 hours the sophmore year.

Putting hydrogen peroxide in my ears? Sounds dangerous. Sure, it's fun to put hydrogen peroxide on scrapes and cuts, but actually putting it inside my body? Isn't there a warning on the bottle that says not to do that? >_<

Hydrogen peroxide in your ears *could* be dangerous if you had a hole in your eardrum and the peroxide got into your inner ear. That would, at the very least, feel very weird, and it could damage some of those delicate structures depending on how strong the solution is. It wouldn't take a very large hole, either.

In any case, it's not a practise I would advocate.

I'm sure everyone knows this, but isn't alcohol ptolly just as bad? I put alcohol in my ears a lot...mainly to get water out...unless theres somethin bout hrdrogen-peroxide I don't know about that's really dangerous...

I put Hydrogen peroxide in my ear to clean them about once a month. It also good for ear infections. Though i only put it in my left ear b/c i have a hole in my right. It's not bad for your health or ears; so the my doctor said. If used correctly. Although if you have a hole in your ear drum it hurts like heck I can assure you. I dont know what to think about the article, is this guy a doctor or just some avg. joe? Though Hydrogen peroxide has some good use, i dont know about ingesting that stuff.

Well, you've pretty much made my point for me about the holes, and you'd only know if the hole was there if you had an otoscopic exam.

As far as hydrogen peroxide goes, there are different solutions of it available. There may be otic preparations for removing earwax, although I've seen a lot of different preparations for that without peroxide; but I doubt whatever peroxide solution you buy at the druggist is going to be anything specifically designed for that environment (rather, it'll be for wound disinfectant most of the time).

So, once again, it's not a practise I'd advocate.

Believe what you wish. Since it already worked for me, it's going to be rather impossible to convince me otherwise.

And truthfully, I have a very strong distrust for prescription drugs and most doctors in general. (No offense to any doctors here though)

I do believe that a lot of the medicines out there are a waste of money b/c you take it to fix one thing and another thing happens due to the results of the medicines. And i also do believe that some of the simpliest/natural things make the best cures, but how would putting peroxide in ones ears help after it has entered your immune system? HOw would peroxide battle the virus? By no means am i saying it wont work, it just seems fishy. But i will try it next time i get a cold to see if it has some true. All i know it could be. I have heard of stranger things that actually worked.

Agreed. They're viruses, which can rapidl change and adapt to keep themselves away from any medication that might do them in. You can do plenty to prevent contracting the viruses, but little to none to combat them once they've gotten started.
