Survivor: Vanawatu, guess the winner contest!

Well its almost time for a new season of Survivor and so Olorc and myself (piloswine) have decided that it would also be an excellent time to start a contest! Heres how it will work, Participants will watch the first two episodes of Survivor: Vanawatu and then post on this thread, their predictions of who will be elimenated and in what order, from the third person out to the winner! Only twenty people will be allowed to participate, due to the complexity of the scoring. Olorc will povide you with specifics regarding posting your predictions and the scorring process.

Keep this in mind as you watch this thursday. This could be very fun for all involved. Stay tuned!;)

I appreciate your opinion cbwing0, however (and this is aimed at everyone not just you) I would like this thread to deal exclusively with the survivor contest olorc and I are planning on having not survivor in general. If you want to participate or if you have any questions about the contest, this is the place to be. If you want to discuss survivor, I will make a thread for survivor discussion.

I think this Has the potential to be very fun.

I hate survivor. If you want to see a group stranded on an island for a while watch gilligan's Island or Lord of the Files.

Oops! I didn't mean to make 2 identical threads, but looking back now I realize that other thread was about the same as this one. Sorry about that. and also I wasn't sure exactly where this belonged, Sorry for posting in the wrong area.

And from the response I have been getting, It dosn't really seem like there is all that much interest in a contest. If theres anyone out there who would still like to participate in a survivor contest, pleas post and it'll still be on, otherwise I'll just forget about the Idea.

How to enter: Write down the round numbers in a list and then the names of who you think will be voted out each round. Not entries will be accpeted after 7:00 EST on Sept. 30.

Here is the scoring, it is sorta complex on paper but not really if you think about it. If you don't care and just want to trust me on the scoring you can just skip reading the scoring, but for those who really wanna know...

... the scoring goes like this *does the scoring dance and starts to expain.*:
After each tribal council you get points for every person you have remaining in the game on your predictions who is also still in the real show. If there are 8 people left in the show and you have 6 of them on your sheet you get 6/8 x 100 points= 75 points. It will be harder to keep getting points as the season goes on, but the point value per person will start to get higher also.
Bonus Pts.: you get 2 bonus points every time you guess the exact right round and person to leave. I.e. if you guess Larry to go in round 5. and he does...you get 2 points. If you do this twice, you get 4 points, 3 times...you guessed it....8 points. For those math people out there you get 2^x bonus points where x=the number of exact right guesses you have made.

Scores of each person in this contest will be posted the weekend after the survivor airs by eith pilowine or myself.

however, correct me if i am wrong but I believe that you meant "no entries will be accepted after 7:00 on september 30...", and not "now entries will be accepted..." (which is what you said)

Well It starts tonight at 8:00, you get the first two rounds free so watch them before submitting your guesses!

if no one responds to this soon we'll just drop it. If by next thursday no one has posted with some sort of prediction then I think it's safe to call it off.
