My absolute favorite verse is:
Proverbs 18:24--"A man that has friends must himself be friendly, but there is a friend that sticks closer than a brother."
I love it because I never really had that many friends--still don't--and whenever I felt lonely, I always read it and it made me realize that Jesus will always be my friend no matter what happens. I can really understand the verse because my brothers and I are extremely close.

yes i know what you mean i have a few freinds that are closer than brothers to me and yes they are brothers in Christ so i guess they are brothers too me but still they are closer than brothers.
I used to "Follow" Him because i had to....now i would give everything to follow Him.

That's always been really reassuring to me. ^_^
Also, do you guys know this Irish Blessing?:
May the road rise to meet you,
May the wind be always at your back,
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
May the rain fall soft upon your fields,
And until we meet again
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.
and then there's this 'A Pastoral Benediction' that this retired minister @ our church wrote:
May the wind in the trees whisper the love of God to your hearing;
May the water lapping the seashore speak His peace to your feeling;

I have a friend (a guy) whose father jokes that his life verse is "Lord, have mercy on my son."
My favorite verse is probably...I forgot the verse, but it's in one of Paul's letters to timothy when he says do not let them look down on you because you are young.
