Hilt wrap

Does anyone here know how to make a hilt wrap for a bokken (wooden katana)? If you could help me that would be great!

If you want to wrap it like a katana, google up tsukamaki - but be aware that this is considered a specialised skill. There's a general overview here.

Otherwise, bokken usually aren't wrapped.

I've never heard of a bokken being wrapped.

I haven't either...but it looks interesting.
I thought most people just made them for decoration...with metal swords...o_O
