The gun one is pretty fly. Like everyone else said, perspective is awesome.

Where he is sitting in the chair...How did you do it? It's great. Did you draw it freehand or get a photo or something?

Good job!

welp here it is my project for my engeneering class, thats right its a penguin clock.
to explane this rather bizzare piece of americana. i needed a project, somthing to model on the computers for my design class. and well i was all out of ideas, it was like writers block for good ideas. anyway i thought if my project was going to be rejected then it might as well be cool looking.

That looks like the penguin from Wallace and Gromit's "The Wrong Trousers" ... one of the best works of stop-motion and claymation ever done.

So do you have to make it, or just design it?

well, this is avery compicted question, more than likely i wont even start on it. every member of my class has to bring ideas of products or ojects to re'engineer. the teacher will look at them all and the the ones he dosnt throw out will be dsigused among the class. after this we'll have to slpit into groups to make one of these projects each. one for each group

so that said, the chances of mine being worked on is very slim, mostly because i didnt have time to come up with anything better, so i just kinda came up with the clock as a joke and to atleast turn somthing in.

but whichever project is desided on will only be designed and assembled on the computer. no actual production will take place. (unless its somthing that the school wants to use to make money for the department ) they like to exploit the free creativeness we young people seem to exude,

personally if nothing else the penguin clock looks cool, and i thought about doing it in my spare time just to have fun with it :thumb:

oh yeah, the software we use is pro-engineer a 3d solid modeling program. its very cool, we're able to build all the parts for a given componet or systeam and assemlem them in 3d, animate them, (very complex), and them map them for rapid prototypeing, or for CNC (computer numericle controled) machining.

we can also assign each componet or part individual characteristics of thier real world conterparts, these allow us to test thier strengths and weeknesses as well as test how these parts will act togeather in the real world. ( though i havent even gotten near that far into the program or its addons, nor do i think i will because thats kinda out side of my major)
