*sings* Can you feel the love tonight? Hehehehe, I feel all warm and fuzzy.

Sigh...lets see I should say something different from what's already been said...*pokes through her giant stack of members' good points* Right, so currently...

I admire:

SManBeyond- for convincing me to join this site, being an AWESOME older bro, for his unconditional love for people, and his deep insights. I luv ya bro!

Ashley- for running this barrel of monkeys and keeping tabs on what goes on and for being a truly good leader.

Scherezarde- for being utterly and completely cool and always putting in a kind word in her posts, I think that about sums it up.

Vyse- for being a strong guy in faith and everything else!

Ummm....yeah, I think that's about it for now, there's tons more people I could mention, but I'll save those compliments for later.

Forgive me for saying this about I don't admire anyone here or do not wish to be admire by anyone here don't get me wrong thou I love everyone here as fellow brothers and sisters in Christ but the one deserve our admiration is one and only Jesus Christ our Lord and savior for He dies on the cross for our sins so that is what so admirable about our Lord Jesus Christ. And I respect everyone as equal.

I like to acknowledge both the good and the uniqueness that God has put in all of His children. We are to let our light shine and sometimes it's good to know that that light is seen.

I think it's encouraging to be acknowledged like that and posting on this thread and thereby thinking of all the wonderful people God has blessed me with the opportunity to interact with makes me grateful for these people. When I post here saying that I admire someone, it can be like I am grateful to God for this person because in some way (Insert phrase relating to/adapted from reason for admiration) they are a blessing from God in my life. Everyone here has some special gift or ministry or something that they do that God has given them. It ministers to me to see that. I respect everyone as people, who all deserve dignity and respect, but I like to take it to acknowledge the good that God has given me the grace to see in them.

With that:

Termyt, I admire the way that even though you are older than I and some of the other CAAers, you have taken the time to chat, talk, and sometimes joke around. It reminds me of how Christ took time for the little children. I know I'm not some little kid anymore, but it's good to see that there is a reason to love them and that they are to be cared about. It kind of makes me want to care for those younger than me. Thank you. You really are a blessing and even simple things that you say and do really minister to and bless me. I am grateful to God for it.

I don't know how this one got past me...haven't been online much, I suppose. Ah, well, here we go...

Kokhiri Sojourn: From the second I first met Kokhiri (online) I was impressed. The way he writes conveys intelligence, thought, and sincerity. He made me feel at home here at CAA when I first arrived, and he’s someone I enjoy talking to either here or on Xanga. I admire him in that often I wish I was more like him, as he has many enviable traits. (The ability to write interesting blog updates, for instance…) You can tell that he’s very serious about his faith, that he has his priorities in line, and that he’s an all around likeable guy. In the things that count, Kokhiri’s got it down. God bless ya, man!

Thank you. I am deeply touched. Your kind words mean a lot to me, so thank you Sheherazade, Kokoro Daisuke, Kinkosami, and Madam President Griff.

I am thankful that the Lord has used me to touch your lives and I thank you for touching mine.

Edit: While I'm here, there are many people who have touched me here as well, with a post or an AIM. Lunis-chan for schooling me in the arcade, Sheherazade's words of encouragement, cbwing0's wisdom, Vyse, Sol_Vicious, Cobalt Angel, Johnyouth, UC, Gypsy, Ashley, who made this all possible, Spiritsword, Spirit_Wolf, Shooby-san, Kirakira, Yahshua, Yeito for her energy. There are so many names. Thank you all for being a part of this community.

Thanks Kat. I'm far from perfect, but the Lord's working on me little by little. *hug*

I said this already once in at least one of my earlier posts on this thread, but I'll say it again for a new "generation" of users: I have a certain amount of admiration and respect for each and every one of you on here, simply for being the unique individual that our Lord made you to be. He made you the way you are for a reason, and really, He is the one Who should be praised and admired for His ability to come up with so many different combinations of personality traits.

The Lord be praised for His big imagination! ^_^

Ah I think I need to explain the reason behind my post to understand where I am coming from. I am coming from an Taiwanese culture in my culture we don't do I admire because stuff becare of fear of over inflated personal ego so in my culture we always say that My Son or daughter are not doing so well at thing or personally I have nothing to be admire of even thou our son or daughter are doing so well at school or things. So in my culture it is not normal to be admire a person that is all.

Rev. Doc: For the great advice when I preached my first sermon

Everyone I will list I admire just because there cool or have impacted me here on the boards in some way, shape or form.

Ashley, Shatterheart, Volt, Inkhana, OldPhilosopher, IfIWasAsian, Mave....I think that's it.

I admire Gyspy and Bobtheduck for being willing to help me at late hours night.

I admire all of the members of CAA who have posted because we all contribute to making this site what it is. A community of anime loving believers. God bless you all.

Hey! This is a cool thread....

But.. I'm not going to post any individuals. I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings by not mentioning them, so, here's my answer:

I admire everyone here at CAA who have tried to help someone or anyone. Whether it be inside of the CAA community, or out of it. To be capable of offering help is a wonderful thing indeed. So, I admire all of you. : )

Praises to God. Truely this is a day of celebration for you Volt! :jump:

Um, while I'm here I guess I'll mention a few more people:

Saint Kevin = his helpful advice

Inkhana = for her nice drawings (yes I know there's many other good artists out there  )

Raiden no Kenshi = A man of few words and another cool guy

Kaiwano = especially because he had enough faith to believe in God and that Jesus Christ was sent to save us from our sin. And kudos to everyone that helped lead him to Christ :thumb:

There's more but I forgot what I was going to write

EDIT: Oh I remember...

rogie_san = I may not see him anywhere else here at CAA but I definitely know that he takes time to lift people up in his prayers very frequently.

Indeed. It appears that to a lot of people, to say "I admire this person," simply means "that person is my friend." I (and the dictionary) have a somewhat stricter definition, where admiration involves a measure of respect and honor for one that is greater than yourself in some way/s. For that reason, my list is not as long as it might be.
