A Raindrop

I peer outside into gray
And watch gentle drops fall
From the blessed Heavens.
Each supple note of water mark
For heart-felt prayers muttered
Between my sleep’s breath.

A raindrop for all kisses we share.

Emerge, new life, from winter vices
To bask in scintillating sunrays
And dance with fragrant breezes.
Innumerous flower petals greet senses
And aid the pure refreshment
Of this crimson soul.

A petal for all blushes we exchange.

Stroll along the Path of Life
With our hands forever interlocked,
Soul mate of mine.
One long stride to follow another
Toward monogamous bliss
Brought by forces not seen.

A step for all caresses we partake.

Utter unbreakable vows with joy
Because union is sought after
Through our twin glows.
Like bands offer physical chains
Between what stands in existence,
Symbolic and priceless.

A ring for all gazes we trade.

Emerge, timeless love, from depths
Immeasurable by even those around
Who understand it most.
Let soft light illuminate eyes
And quicken pulses of devoted lovers
For passion’s one sake.

A cause for all thoughts we know.

I peer outside into gray
But see only the bright spectrum
Of our innocent love.
Time may tell our story well now
Since we have chosen the path
To destiny and beyond.

A raindrop for all that we are.

oooh, cool!
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone
And so hold on when there is nothing left in you
Except the Will which says to them: 'Hold on!' ...you'll be a Man, my son!

A Snowy Trinket

Beneath hues of blue and orange,
Surrounded by the gamut
Of green and brown;
Two young beaus traverse Nature’s Majesty.

A magical afternoon stroll,
Far from ordinary
In many-a-way,
Yet, revitalizing to their heart and soul.

But, a snowy trinket shattered,
Symbolic of sweet,
Blossoming love
Between the spellbound pair.

Heavy-in-heart, the offender
Quickly made amends
For her crime
Because she intended none of her clumsy harm.

He met her with tender smile
And offered to wish
Purely upon
Both halves of what had been split.

Wind-swept wishes on cool breezes
From two sets of
Warm, soft lips
Cast the remnants to a mountain’s unknown.

Forever set adrift together,
They can feel their love
Flow within,
Both divine trickle and desirous torrent.

Absent

Absent from your shelter,
I wrap into myself
And the glow of our love.

I fight against Time’s drum,
To hasten its beat
So we may be together.

You, the strength and weakness
Of my entire being,
Are what I require most.

I gaze toward memories
As my eyes and soul
Well with precarious tears.

Let the vacancy be short,
We are not whole
Without the other gone.

Slightly torn and in need
Of skillful mending,
We await that blessed day.

Ache For You

Quietness encircles my soul
Set adrift along glistening possibility
A salty tear wells from my vision.
Realization;
I ache for you, my true one.

Solitude enfolds my being
Because I won no hand to hold.
The spirit roars against Time itself,
Melancholy toward a faceless victor.
Desire;
I burn for you, my loving one.

Fate forces my step onward
And grants pleasant wishes for lovers.
A singular star streaks black-velvet sky,
My mouth utters of swift resolution.
Torment;
I bleed for you, my darling one.

Love allows many ways for
Much required contact and exchange.
Laughter extends to smiles and passion,
Friendship the most sacred instrument.
Mirth;
I crave for you, my noble beloved.

A day passes into night when
Us separated courtiers feel needs most.
The frigid bedside rests unoccupied,
Our space next to the other spoken for.
Meditation;
I strain for you, my precious beloved.

The calendar marches its steady course
Forever obstinate on both spectrums.
Patience slows the pain but lets
Bits seep through and take hold.
Stoicism;
I wait for you, my only beloved.

Aishiteru

A supple, warm glow flows
By means of bridges freshly built;
White like Winter’s icy snows,
Yet steely against the roughest tilt.

- Ai suki ka? -

Soft light turns to amber flame
Seen from either side’s expanse;
Both can only lull, not tame,
Seduction leaps from their trance.

- Ai suki ka? -

Fire encases the new born span
But scorches not and adds protection;
Neither understood when this began
They would amalgamate to their second reflection.

- Ai suki ka? -
Aishiteru yo,
Yakusoku da.

Behold

What fantasies rest in your eyes untold, Dearest?
Pleasant ones, I pray.
How shall our deepest desires mold; together?
They mingle well enough.

Are the affections you endow spun from gold, Darling?
Very priceless, indeed.
Are we truly unique with our actions bold, always?
True love knows no chains.

Through life we weather even bitter cold, Amore.
Shelter for the other.
We laugh now and will until we’re old, forever.
Two alike souls in bliss.

Both stubborn, neither of us shall fold, Precious.
Twin flames interlocked.
Let us discover what the future can hold, as one.
Infinity is now complete.

Blessed With Us

Nothing more than friendship
As we started out;
Mutual respect and kindness
Traded between us.

Both listened and spoke
Content with time;
Laughter exchanged with support
From able shoulders.

A warmness grew before
Either understood;
We tumbled together into
Oceans of love.

What caused separate souls
To meld and fall?
Were we even two entities
To begin with?

Is eternity itself too long or
Not long enough?
How can someone define
Depthless love?

What forces pushed so we
Could grow together?
What better reality could
Alike hearts find?

Together now our dance
Is serpentine;
Forever wrapped as one
In bliss of hearts.

No course lies other than
Ahead to life;
Existence in unison and
Love’s philosophy.

Thank the starred Heavens
Daily, lovers;
We discovered our lost selves
In one another.

You're quite the poet! Ever thought about making a book or anything?
I think that's what I'm gonna' do--make a book for my poems.

^_^ Keep up the good work!

To serve your turn long after they are gone
And so hold on when there is nothing left in you
Except the Will which says to them: 'Hold on!' ...you'll be a Man, my son!

Hehe, mayhap one day when I have penned greater works than these. ^^ The only poetry "book" I wrote was last year for a birthday gift for my special guy. I am currently taking all the poems I wrote him from the binder, typing them up, and posting them here. But actual publication is waaaaaay off. :sweat:

I thank you for your compliments and encouragement, Vash! They are greatly appreciated.

Dragon and Phoenix

Somewhere between Heavens and their
Ever-present mists,
Two sentient beings become one pair
Through symbolic twists.

Both souls awaken to measure
With one another,
Auras scintillate against said treasure
And affections smother.

Soft Phoenix and strong Dragon
Are like pearls,
Undeniably True Love’s paragon
In cosmic swirls.

Masculinity and femininity
Forever corporeal,
Feelings define only by infinity
And what it can reveal.

Love, a lesson most people today
Should deeply know,
By finding solace in its gentle sway
One shall never bow.

Entranced Flames

Stumble down one
Two-way rabbit hole,
Midway proudly marks
A chance convergence.

The rush of touch
Through synthetic garb,
Sweet smoke hovers
Where worlds once stood.

A beat of heart
Harkens those writing,
Said pair unable
To pull from mesmerism.

Rhythm turns to
Solidity and unison,
Encased by blaze
Their laughter ripens.

Reality disturbs
Both snap to what was,
Shall steps make vision
Validity against such haze?

Eternal Time

Nighttime;
Liquid moonbeams trickle downward
To illumine a fragrant path.
Swishes of silk and slaps of slippers
Disturb the peaceful way.

Alone time;
The young Queen with wise gaze
Wrings her slender hands.
Her crimson garb matches personality,
Passion for whom she awaits.

Delicate time;
From shadowed trees steps a man
In silver armor, black cape.
His arms encircle his Queen’s waist
And lips seek her neck.

Precious time;
She gasps and sinks against him,
Pleased at his timely arrival.
She turns in his grasp and smiles
As fingers touch his face.

Required time;
“Betrothed,â€

Eternal Time: Epilogue

What ever happened to the blushing Queen
And her safeguarding Knight?
They stole away to valleys of green
Intent upon Love’s delight.

The handsome Knight soon laid claim
Of her as his one, his own;
Silver bands mark the Queen’s new name,
“I do,â€

Furrowed Brow

Be nervous not, my love,
For they shall cherish you as I.
Our gentle glow shows magnitude
In the truest love.

Every soul has skeletons,
Burdens to bear from mistakes made.
You swept off dust and soldiered on
Anew in futures bright.

Your pace quickens with time,
From stroll to jog to run and gallop.
Now we’ve sprouted wings and soared
To Love’s Graces.

Made stronger by the other,
No one can deny our perfection.
But opinions matter not when
Truth is known.

Be nervous not, my love,
For they will cherish you as I.
A welcomed son to family’s bosom
Always unconditionally.

In Your

In your arms I found myself
And an entire new world began.
In your smile I lost my spirit
To whom was meant to steal it.

Beguiling Rogue and just Knight,
You’re one in the same to me.
Sensual entity and pious being,
Incapable of causing my displeasure.

In your eyes I see tru love
As soul mates were supposed to.
In your heart I hear sweet words
Of what our future holds.

Brooding intellect and idiot savant,
You always manage to make me smile.
Eternal mate and best friend,
Bonded forever by more than mere love.

My Guiding Star

What wind-swept wonder
You have brought to my life
That transcends distance,
Elation, tranquility, and strife.

You, the sacred bauble,
Fallen from Heaven-above
Have shown me true patience,
Kindness, devotion, and love.

Thank you for everything
And all that you are,
My most precious heart,
Friend, and brightest guiding star.

0_0 Okay, it's going to take me awhile to go through these, but I will. ^___^ I can hardly wait. Then I'll comment.

[size=84][color=seagreen]YOU SEE

You see into the deepest part of me ---

beyond the fog I hide behind.

You cast your light upon the shadows

that stretch like cobwebs in my mind.

You ease the pain when I am hurting,

and morbid visions from my past

pierce into the realm of Reason

as though I danced on blades of glass.

You grant me strength when I have fallen

and, once again, I've lost my way.

You take my hand in Yours and lead me

into the promise of a brand new day.

You bring order to all my chaos,

yet set my well-laid plans awry.

You place me on a firm foundation ---

then give me wings so I can fly.

You sand away my roughened edges

and polish all the dullest parts

until I stand before Your presence...

a newly-sculpted work of art.

You see into the heart within me,

right through my motives and selfish will.

And yet, in spite of all You see

You say You love me even still.

Yeah, I know. Those are all the ones from 2003 I wrote. I had spare time today so I figured I could type them all up and post them. Don't worry, more poems won't be coming for a while. ;)
