I wouldn't worry too much about it. If it persists, sure, see a health care professional if it will set your mind at ease.
Every time I forget something -- like a name or an appointment -- I'm prone to think something's wrong with me, but in reality I think it is just the stress of living and keeping so many things in my head (instead of doing something sensible like writing it down).
Forgetfulness isn't a great indicator of the onset of dementia -- my dad has what his doctors describe as "early onset Alzheimer's", and that was preceded by a sudden personality change followed by narcolepsy-like symptoms. He only started losing his short-term memory several years ago.
So, at your age, there is probably no reason for concern. But, like I said, if it persists, consult your physician for advice.
