College?

Talk about anything in here.

It's great that you want to have it all together and planned out, Nob, but take my advice---I just graduated high school last weekend after an extremely stressful senior year. I was working and taking honors classes out the ears and applying for scholarships left and right. In the end, it's ok to want to work towards getting this set down in motion, but don't let it stress you out. Let God be God and guide you through what he wants to do. It's funny, but like in November I made myself start thinking about where I wanted to go to school. I applied at a few places, including the local university. I didn't know what I would study really or how I would pay for it, but I just did. Sure enough, God provided a scholarship there and has since lead me to some interesting ideas about course studies. My point is this: God loves you and wants you to be successful. The best way to do it is to trust in Him and be sensible.

And on a different note, I just noticed my winter break this next year is gonna be more than a month long! Wooooooo! I love college already!

That tends to be the biggest advantage of college. :D

If I go to Full Sail, my winter break will probably be the longest I get... and it won't be longer than two weeks a best. Their program is incredibly intense. I guess I can't complain about that- I won't be spending much time in school with this method. However, I doubt I have the funds to attend such a specified private college... but I should stop talking about myself.

Am currently in my senior year in the state university, studying Anglo-American literature. Will be graduating by next semester. Most likely would go abroad either to the UK or USA for a masteral degree.

I'll probably do at least 2 years of ROTC at Purdue. After that I'll enlist in the Army, get Airborne qualified, then apply for Ranger School.

August 26 is my first day as a second-year at Biola University, a small private Christian liberal arts university in Southern California. =) (I LOVE it~!) Liberal Studies, emphasis in elementary education. If God willing, I would love to study abroad in China for a year afterwards to learn how to speak, read, and write Chinese fluently.

Yes, I'll be going to college. My parents say that I have to go to an Ivy League college. They want me to become a lawyer, and it's something that I'm interested in, so, it should be okay. But lately, I'm kind of interested in being an architect. I love designing homes. : ) So, to put it simply, I'll be going to an Ivy Leage college, and I don't know what I'll be in majoring in yet... Wow... that makes me worry. Video gaming would be such a fun thing to major in.... Basically, now, all I do is take AP and Honors classes... I'm so tired...
