Trailer for new theatrical anime

Korean title is "Shin Amhengusa". I don't know what the Japanese title is.

this is a unique project. It's based on a manwha(manga) series that is published in Korea and Japan at the same time. I don't like the the previous comix the artist published before this. But, this title is well worth checking out.

the Japanese-Korean joint project makes this manga unique. but, what really sets it apart from other manga is the storyline. It's based on Korean folklores and history and turned it into fantasy. And I think they (the artist and the writer are separate) finally pulled off a unique project.

Here is a link to the site that has a trailer. It's in Korean. So, the text might be all broken. But, if the trailer doesn't load, right click on the text right below the trailer window and do "save as" to download window media file.

Hmm... That girl is sorta... I can't tell much from this trailer except the old cheap fantasy novel rule (men's power is directly proportional to the amount of clothing, women's power is inversly proportional to the amount of clothing.) seems to be in play here... But, then again, the alternative is too disturbing (Reign... *shiver*)

This doesn't show much about the plot. I guess it's supposed to be a well known story or something, so the audience should know it allready...

I won't be watching any new anime for a while, unless I trade out my "gamefly" account for a netflix one...

Cheap Fantasy Novel Rule! That's great.
Every year in Uganda, innumerable children simply. . . disappear. These children all stolen under the cover of darkness from their homes and impressed into the guerilla armies of the LRA [Lord's Resistance Army]. In the deserts of Uganda, they are forced to witness the mindless slaughter of other children until they themselves can do nothing but kill. Kill. These children, generally ranging from ages 5-12, are brainwashed into murdering in the name of the resistance and into stealing other children from their beds to suffer the same fate.

Because of this genocide of innocence, hundred and hundreds of children live every night sleeping in public places miles from their homes, because they know that if the do not-- they will disappear. They will become just another number in this genocide to which the international community has chosen to turn a blind eye. They will become, in affect, invisible-- Invisible Children.

But there are those who are trying to fight against this slaughter of Uganda's children. They fight to protect these "invisible children." Please, help them help a country full of children who know nothing by fear. Help save the innocence. For more information concerning how you can help and how you can get an incredible video about this horrific reality, visit the Invisible Children home page.

Ur... I will give you about the design element...

But, you sound awefully sure about the content of this manga/show/movie without knowing anything about it.

With that said... I am worried that the two hour long movie (book #8 of the manga just came out) will fail to carry the brilliant modern adapation that the manga achieved. Okay... book 6 and 7 were little slow...

oh well....
