I haven't watched any of it. What are your thoughts so far? Details, man, use details!

GA is hilarious. XDD A complete no-brainer, but the funny-factor was enough to keep me riveted. Go Forte! Love the guns!

I think it has reached three seasons already, though I'm not quite sure...

I was forced to watch the series non-stop during an anime convention for around six hours, because it was supposed to be only four-hour session but they were 'slightly' behind schedule for the show 'Anime Eye for the Normal Guy', which was funny.

Back to point, GA is definately no brainer. Somehow addictive because it has pretty much no story line that can be thought of as leading, but it's funny, and it was made to be funny, so I have no complaints.

Its very very funny for the most part ^_^ Though Forte does have a cleavage problem and there are a couple dirt jokes and bad words, other wise the series is pretty clean. Over all I am enjoying the series a lot, its a really cool. light hearted, cute anime. Btw the ending theme is so awesome! I can't wait for the next DVD as well as the other series to come here ^_^

Actually, the fourth season has just started in Japan. However, only season 1 has been licensed here so far. Most likely they are watching to see how it sells before committing to more.

I can't add much more than what really has already been said. The animation is uber cute and colorful. The character Vanilla draws in a huge fan base for her quiet, kawaiiness. She is the spiritual character of the bunch but you have to take her theology with a grain of salt. I do have to say most of the amusement for me is Mint's leaning towards anything resembling cosplay.

It's worth a look if you want some laughs but it is definately one you will want to pay attention to the age rating for.

My apologies. You're right. In fact it was announced as far back at July 2003. Therefore since they had it at that time I am sure that just as soon as season 1 is totally distributed they will go right into season 2. At that time I would not have noticed the title and I completely missed the last announcement probably because it was overshadowed by their Scrapped Princess announcement.

Galaxy Angel is a tour de force. Perhaps the most relevant anime to come state side this year - no, ever! The things I have learned! My eyes are open, now.

What about GA content?
Every year in Uganda, innumerable children simply. . . disappear. These children all stolen under the cover of darkness from their homes and impressed into the guerilla armies of the LRA [Lord's Resistance Army]. In the deserts of Uganda, they are forced to witness the mindless slaughter of other children until they themselves can do nothing but kill. Kill. These children, generally ranging from ages 5-12, are brainwashed into murdering in the name of the resistance and into stealing other children from their beds to suffer the same fate.

Because of this genocide of innocence, hundred and hundreds of children live every night sleeping in public places miles from their homes, because they know that if the do not-- they will disappear. They will become just another number in this genocide to which the international community has chosen to turn a blind eye. They will become, in affect, invisible-- Invisible Children.

But there are those who are trying to fight against this slaughter of Uganda's children. They fight to protect these "invisible children." Please, help them help a country full of children who know nothing by fear. Help save the innocence. For more information concerning how you can help and how you can get an incredible video about this horrific reality, visit the Invisible Children home page.

There some use of the "more common and acceptable" bad language like what you commonly find in prime time US TV now. *sighs*

There is a bit of fan service as well in just about every episode, but no nudity and no improper situations that I can think of.

All that said, it's one of few shows that I laugh out loud at.

I've rented the first two Vol.'s of GA, and I must say it is very funny. The animation is very cute as well, always a plus for me. ;) The episodes are shorter than standard anime episodes, but you get a lot per disc. It's definitely worth renting, and I'm considering buying a volume or two as well.
