Announcement on Young Women's Bible Study

Postby true_noir_chloe » Thu Aug 05, 2004 12:05 pm

We have had interest in our Bible study for young ladies, so after much prayer and research we will begin our study.

It will start on August 30th, and we will be working through a Beth Moore study entitled, "The Beloved Disciple" the Life and Ministry of John. If you are interested in taking part in this study and have not yet pm'd me, that's all right - you still have time.

This is the list of those interested thus far:

1. Mave
2. chibi_chan
3. Ducky
4. Kirakira
5. Inkhana
6. Shiroi Hikari
7. KisaTohru
8. EireWolf
9. teepanee

I know there are others who have not yet pm'd me or are on vacation. Just let me know when you're able and I will add you to the list. If you need help finding the workbook, I will try and help you find it.

**Ashley has been kind enough to place a section in the Bible study area of the forums for us. Thanks, Ash. Please look up our thread over there and let me know you've found it by placing a quick note there. Any questions can be directed to me on that thread, here or via pm.

I know we will have a blessed time together as we grow closer to the Lord in prayer and time in His Word.

I've gone ahead and placed a pic of the front and back of the workbook, so you all will know what you're looking for.:)

You see into the deepest part of me ---

beyond the fog I hide behind.

You cast your light upon the shadows

that stretch like cobwebs in my mind.

You ease the pain when I am hurting,

and morbid visions from my past

pierce into the realm of Reason

as though I danced on blades of glass.

You grant me strength when I have fallen

and, once again, I've lost my way.

You take my hand in Yours and lead me

into the promise of a brand new day.

You bring order to all my chaos,

yet set my well-laid plans awry.

You place me on a firm foundation ---

then give me wings so I can fly.

You sand away my roughened edges

and polish all the dullest parts

until I stand before Your presence...

a newly-sculpted work of art.

You see into the heart within me,

right through my motives and selfish will.

And yet, in spite of all You see

You say You love me even still.

What is the bible study going to study?
There's a workbook?

Hi Sheherazade. Yes, we'll have a Bible study starting Aug. 30th. We will be following along in a workbook. It is a Beth Moore study entitled, "Beloved Disciple," The Life and Ministry of John. I'm asking everyone to purchase the workbook by the time we start and then in the Bible section here we will discuss and post our chats. We will plan to discuss what we've learned over there and on IM.

I'll pm you later and we can talk about it if you like. ^__^ I hope you join us in this study.
