I have empty wallet syndrome... I just bid on Pimsleur's comprehensive Japanese level 1 for 168 dollars plus 11 shipping... That leaves me with 6 dollars provided no one outbids me... Luckily, I live at home right now and my parents cover my essentials. However, this is more than a whole paycheck's worth for me.
This is very exciting, provided I win... It's the cheapest I've ever seen these CD's...
This is the first 30 lessons out of 90. Supposedly, this is the most effective language learning technique... I was wondering what I could do about lessons 31-90, but remembered... This was used to begin with, so I could sell this when I had used it up, and buy the next set for effectively a lot less money. I guess I should view this as an investment, anyhow. Much more effective than me reading my lessons out loud (mostly because it will be native Japanese speakers) but I will continue to use the book as well... The pimsleur method teaches speaking ONLY. Luckily, I have kanji cards (about 500 of them) which should keep me busy on writing for a while...
Anyhow, I guess there prolly won't be much discussion, as I dont' think anyone else on this board has any of these... But, uh, you should get one, though... Just not the one I'm bidding on... It's cheaper if you go for the tapes, BTW... Usually, I mean. It's just I was lucky on it for this one...
Well, anyhow... That' about it... [button="off topic"]When I started writing this, I was jumping up and down, then I took my laundry out and stepped off the sidewalk and twisted my ankle... No more jumping... [/button]
