For great video game deals, Ebay is my source of choice. I have bought several games over the course of the summer, all on Ebay (and all for the PS2, as it happens
).
Here is the list so far:
Used/Opened:
Gran Turismo 3 - $7.50
Prince of Persia - $10.00
Splinter Cell - $10.00
Marvel vs. Capcom 2 - $38.00 (ok, so that one was only a dollar under retail, but I had to have it
)
New and Unopened:
Samurai Warriors - $34.00
The Suffering - $25.00
Mega Man Anniversary Collection - $23.00
Tekken 4 - $8.50
Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance - $13.99
Total cost - $169.99
Retail value - $270.00
Money saved - $100.01
That retail value factors in games with greatest hits status, with all prices rounded up to the nearest dollar (i.e. $19.99=20).
On top of that, I have never once been conned, burned, or otherwise inconvenienced while using Ebay, despite what some people seem to think about it.
