p.s. oh, so that's what a frag is? ok! thank you! ^-^ I'm sorry I didn't know. I guess I don't play those shooting games too much, because when an enemy jumps out at you from a door it scares me and I go on a "shooting spree" wasting all my bullets! o__o

Well...that's a good point, UC.

It might have to do with the fact I use Geocities to host the site, and well...we all know how reliable these free things are...

It also might have to do with the fact that I use JPEG format when I save my comics. I've heard of problems with PNG and GIF format, but not JPEG...oddity...

I think it's because you use the "Site builder" instead of HTML? I remember when my friend first made a website and she used that, I had lots of problems trying to view it. But that was on my old computer? hmm!

Sitebuilder had been working fine for me up until this point...hmm...oddity...

At this point I can see all six comics (I'd suggest just doing the redux of 5... it looks better and isn't very new). So the problem is uncertain. I regret to inform you I have done no work. I'm a bit occupied finishing another project at the moment...

Indeed I do; it is good to see someone being understanding. For that, I will attempt to pull together what I can post at the moment:

1) If you have a (legal) emulator with a layering function, it is often possible to take off all layers but sprites and then Print Screen and paste in a photoeditor.

2) Look up sprites and backgrounds. There are a great many on the internet just sitting around.

3) Use Paint and then set white as invisible. That way you can grab and drag squares containing sprites onto backgrounds without worrying about them having large white squares around them.

4) If you use word bubbles, save them in a seperate file. They can be reused, which at times is extremely convenient.

Yeah UC is right, it is much easier to manipulate your sprites once they have been trace with a tracing tool in Paint/Photoshop. I'd also suggest saving all your sprites on a sprite sheet so you can easily access them at a later time.

Also have your bubbles and even comic layouts saved, since your fanbase is growing a bit --this would help for updating on a more constant basis.

You're getting better, visually I speak of, since you were already good with your writing. And there are many great places on the web for sprites, need a few I'll email or pm them to you.

If you use photoshop or a similar application, use layers and you will save yourself a world of time...

At the moment, I would strongly suggest waiting before seriously releasing this as a public-domain web comic. It isn't to that phase yet. Most people are quite visually oriented when it comes to web comics.
