If someone could tell me what the Hanna Barbara cartoon was with the caveman family, the rock gorilla, the dragon, and the two gooey things, they would be my hero.

My favorite non-anime animated show is definately the Simpsons. I also like King of the Hill, Dilbert, Baby Blues, and Harvey Birdman Attourney at law... These are all "prme time" or "late night" shows, though... Hmm... I also have gotten to enjoy "Timesquad" because it comes on right after adult swim. It's pretty funny.

Shows that I like, but don't have channels to watch them include "Duck Tales", "Goof Troop", and "Rocko's Modern Life." They all rocked, particularly Rocko... I was a really big "Doug" fan in both its nickelodeon days and its disney days. I liked "Quack Pack" when it first came out, but it was a fad... Didn't have anything near the lasting power of "Duck Tales."

BTW, One of the stars of "Dungeons and Dragons" (who also plays connie on adventures in odyssey) later did an episode of Adventures in Odyssey warning of the dangers of "Fantasy Roleplaying Games" Such delicious irony, heheheheheh...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=evcNPfZlrZs Watch this movie なう。 It's legal, free... And it's more than its premise. It's not saying Fast Food is good food. Just watch it.

I don't really watch television that often though! The only one that I watch almost daily is Spongebob. It's very funny and silly!! But I don't really like to watch television most of the time. ^-^

I dont like scooby doo either. Ever since I was 6 years old and scared to death of anything that looked even remotely scary... which the beginning scooby doo theme song did  You should have seen me going totally freaking out over the fact that I couldnt turn off the TV while they were showing the castle and the bats and stuff!!

All the stuff that bobtheduck mentioned that he cant watch, I used to watch those too!

Although I only watched Rocko's modern life when I was like 5 I remember liking it :thumb: All I really remember about it is that rocko's brother called him some obscure word like "dweeb" and he would often say things like "am I in trouble?" and afterwards say start a sentance like "after i finished getting in trouble..." and they went to the grand canyon in one episode and all the characters looked weird. Thats all I remember about it!

And of course the old Chuck Jones Looney Toons.

Well, you make me think of two Hana Barbera cartoons. One is 'Thundar the Barbarian', but he didnt have all those pets. So you must be thinking of 'The Herculoids.' I used to watch them all the time when I was a kid.

The cast was King Zandor, his family, Tundro (the rino guy), Gleep, Gloop (the blob things), Igoo (the rock monster), and Zok! (the dragon)

Oh, and are you sure Teentitains is an american cartoon? The characters models, mannerisms, and actions are very simmilar to those in anime. Not to mention the theme song being sung by some asian kids...

Just a thought. I guess I will have to read the credits more closely next time.
Depend on it. God's work done in God's way will never lack God's supply. He is too wise a God to frustrate His purposes for lack of funds, and He can just as easily supply them ahead of time as afterwards, and He much prefers doing so.

I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?" "Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet. You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times." It was all true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach. He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.

Does Homestarrunner count as a cartoon?

My favorite of all time has got to be The Flintstones, of course. The DVD boxsets (well, the first season, anyway) are now officially on my Christmas wish list! ^_____^

Old school has got to be Scooby Doo. No questions there. My current favorite is Teen Titans, although I like Totally Spies, too.

Favorite american cartoon......
I have a couple. First would be King of the Hill. It's so surprising how close they portray us Texans :P. Well it's not all true, but noe the less it's a good show. It seems like I can relate a lot of the main characters to the people I know.
1: Dale. My father revolves his life around gov't conspiracies
2: Bill. My step dad reminds me of him for some reason, can't put my finger on it.
3. Peggy. My mom can never be wrong even when she is.

I could go on and on....

My other favorite shows would include Teen Titans, sometimes the Justice League (sometimes), and Futurama.

Invator Zim
Rocko's Modren Life
Ren & Stimpy (old version)
X-Men (the old/original one)
Gargoyles
Batman (1995 version)
Iron Man (1995 version)
The Fantasic Four (1995 version)
Dexters Lab (old version/season 1)
Space Ghost: Ghost to Ghost (old version, 7:00AM one)
The Oblongs (...canceled in 1 month *tear*)
Homemovies
The Brak show
Outlaw Kats
The Simpsons

Ahh the good old days when cartoon network was worth watching. I loved most of the cartoons that aired, they were all original and created by diffrent artist and not much publicity on each. But now, most all the cartoons on CN (except AS) are IMO repetitive and aimed for younger kids. That is one of the reasons for me quitting watching television altogether.

Transformers---Never gets old. I watched it when I was a kid, and I'm glad they brought it back. It's like reliving part of my childhood.

Megas XLR------What can I say, it's an awesome show. Imho, it's one of the few American cartoons that are on par with anime when it comes to how it's drawn and colored, and also how it's written. The guys who wrote it are big Transformers and anime fans, and there's always a reference or 2 to those genres. Coop is great: A car guy from Jersey that eats too much and watches too much TV gets to save the world again and again. Did I mention the show is hillarious?

King of the Hill--not too bad, but Dale is hillarious.

Other shows I watched as a kid: Voltron, Speed Racer, Gi Joe, Transformers (the original series), He-Man, Inspector Gadget, TMNT, the list goes on and on.
