Guy's Clothing

Talk about anything in here.

[quote="Iona"]Hehehehe, I just remembered something funny that happened at my church a while back dealing with baggy pants. The guys had all been wearing fairly baggy pants and one day we had a youth group relay game that involved putting clothes on, posing, and then taking them all off and running back to let the next person on your team go and do the same. We were all fully clothed in our regular clothes btw. Anyway, one of the guys on the other team put on the clothes and posed, but when he took them off to race back and let the next person go, his pants fell down and we saw his boxers. They were white with red hearts...I nearly died laughing. All the guys starting wearing belts after that.

So a little incentive to at least wearing something to hold baggy pants up, eh guys? ]
I'm sorry, that's great! *dies laughing*

I don't even know what to say to that, except that: isn't the cliche kind of boxers have red hearts and a white backround? lol!!!

I dont have time to read past page 2 of this thread but I have a couple of things to say anyway.

1) I dont like really loose pants. I have 1 pair of pants that is pretty loose so I just try to always wear a long shirt with them so that my waist is always covered

2) Xavier (who posted in this thread a while back) looks really cool, especially with the anti-cracking gloves!

I think it looks ridiculous when they walk around looking like their pants are about to fall down.

I have this joke about it; what if some guy's drawers dropped in front of everyone, or were beginning to drop, so his friends pulled their pants way down so that their friend would feel more comfortable? Then someone thought, "Hey, that's a cool look!" and then: WHA-LA! New style.

But no, personally I don't find it immodest. Not if they're wearing long shirts. No shirt and Drop-Drawer Pants? Icky...

About the sagging pants, I kind of think my pants are uncomfortable is they're like way tight. So I usually buy pants that are a little loose, but not so loose that i can pull them down past my waist. And my shirt always covers my waist anyway. It seems like you'd have to really make an effort to look "cool." Like buying pants that are way too big.

Well whatever. My two cents or however much money that statement was worth.

Instead of being the 37th person to diss baggy pants, I'll rant about something else. One particular piece of men's clothing that bugs me are shorts that are too short. You know the ones, from the NBA of the 80's and before. Yeah, why do they even still make those? Fellas, just get some shorts that at least come to your knees (or pretty close), you don't want to look like John Stockton with the short shorts.

Since I'm on the subject of short shorts, I might as well add that they bug me on girls too. Don't stumble your brothers in Christ by wearing those ladies, if you can help it. If you have to to play volleyball or soccer or something, then I guess I can understand, just, check yourselves please.

Also, this doesn't really count as guy's clothing, but since I'm ranting about stuff that bugs me, I might as well say it. Guys I don't care if you ARE on the swim team, unless you are in the Olympics in Athens or something, DON'T shave your legs. Seriously what are those guys thinking?

Lol well I don't think anyone under 30 wears short shorts unless their running or something.;)

Well I shaved my legs two years ago.:P It was because I lost a bet though and since I'm a man of my word I shaved em. I have to admit I did kinda like the silky smoothness for awhile but I'll keep my hairy caveman legs.
