Gha! You guys have to see this. This guy sure can play! In the video he plays tons of the songs from the Mario games, on the piano!

It's really great, so watch it!

You'll have to download it... but it's worth the wait.

Wow, that is so neat! If the guy figured out the chords himself, he's a musical genius!

That guy can PLAY. I almost need to play the vid in slow motion to see where his left hand is going on that last song. I can't believe he can play a walking bass line that fast. Also, I don't know how many of you noticed this, but that guy was blindfolded on the first song was he not?
Crazy! I need to slow the vid down and try to transcribe some of that music, it's awesome.

Oh, Rai...it was this guy playing all these mario theme songs on his piano. It sounded like the real songs too!
Heart of Sword's Rhapsody

Money, get away
Get a good job with good pay and you're okay
And all and all you're just another brick in the wall
Shoutin’ in the street gonna take on the world some day
But Bismallah will not let me go
Because I'll see you on the dark side of the moon

Tommy used to work on the docks
Union's been on strike
Bright eyes burning like fire
And exposing every weakness
However carefully hidden by the kids

Who will love a little Sparrow
Who's traveled far and cries for rest
Spare him his life from this monstrosity

I've seen a million faces and I've rocked them all
And if the band youre in starts playing different tunes
We will we will rock you
We will we will rock you!

I've seen a similar video with ANOTHER asian guy, so I thought this was the same video until the blindfold was mentioned, but this was quite impressive... The other one was funnier because he was talking about what he was playing and he did the "going down the pipe" sound, hehehe... He only played SMB1 songs, though, while this guy played songs from several games. I wonder if this one was in competition with the other one, or was this one first? I think this is new, so I think it was done as a, forgive the pun, "One up" on the other vid. A couple of the songs just didn't sound right on this new one, though.

Interesting, though.

Much thanks for the links. Maybe after two more years of solid practice, I can get there. At least tho, I have the music saved now, so I can come back to it later. Much thanks Kinkosami.

Yeah, we thought that was pretty funny. My mom thought it was hilarious, for some reason...

I'm glad you guys like the music. I really should sit down and work on them a little, that would be cool to be able to play Mario music whenever I feel like it. And a lot of the songs don't sound that hard, my brother can already play through a couple pretty easily...

Wow, what talent eh ? I wish I could do something like that....he also is right on key with every single chord of every Mario song he plays. Maybe he is related to the guy who composed the Mario themes?

Goodness... that IS the best! That's crazy how he nailed that boogy woogy tune from the mario on SNES. I wonder if he got the sheet music from somehwere and just memorized it or just figured it out by ear. One thing's for sure, i'm gonna show this to all my nephews. They play the piano and LOVE mario to death. Whenever they come to my house they always wanna play Mario RPG. Thanks for the link!!
