Have you tried reinstalling DirectX (or installing a newer version of it)? If so, have you tried running the DirectX diagnostic utility? Open up a command prompt (or "Run..." under the Start menu) and type:
Code: Select all
dxdiag

Even if it doesn't help you get any programs working, at least it should tell you what's wrong. Hope that helps. ^_^

I've never had good experiences with video cards on laptops. The laptop I had (1.1Ghz) had a crappy video card - so crappy that 2D sprites in Homeworld Cataclysm (my favorite game at the time) appears ABOVE everything else and not in the backdrop like they should have been. And it was slow too.

Haven't had any good experience with upgrading laptops either.

IMO, games were made for the Desktop PC, while laptops are simply to take on business trips to do work. Seems to be the only thing they're good for.

I've tried reinstalling it and everything I've done dxdiag and still noting. It just doesn't want to go to acceration and also tried drivers also.

Do any of you know where I can get an openGL driver with my card? I couldn't find one
