Taping homestar and other stuff

Postby Bobtheduck » Fri Jul 02, 2004 3:10 am

I have been borrowing my friend's laptop, which has an AV out... I've been using that to tape Homestar and Legendary frog, among other things (such as some funny pictures and AMV's) I have to give the computer back tomorrow, but I hope to have all of strongbad's emails up to 103 (as far as I have saved onto CD) and maybe even newer stuff... I'm gonna be well prepared before I go to chico! ^_^

Um... Yeah, I just thought some of you would find that interesting...

This has meant that I am stuck in my room all day, which isn't good, but I'm sick anyhow, so I can't really go out... Being in control of the pause button has been good, because I've been able to cut out all of the "smith"'s scenes...

It's great to watch when you don't have to manually load each episode, particularly when they're only a minute a piece... (that's what we call "carpal tunnel syndrome" in the business...) I'd love to put them on DVD, too. Strongbad e-mails alone would likely take 3 DVD's, though I could fit the remaining cartoons on the rest of the 3rd disc... Can't you just see it - Homestarrunner.com DVD collection... Hmm It would be great to make covers for it, and get some blank faceless DVD's and a CD printer, and make it look nice and pro like...

The Brother's chaps should consider that themselves... I know I'd buy it.

Sorry to hear your sick. Get well soon.

Yes, the many days I had wished I had a Homestar Runner DVD boxset... Well actually, I only thought about it once or twice before. Anyways, I would love to record them, but I don't believe I have an AV out on my PC. *scratches head* I gotta make sure...

Oh btw, what's wrong with the poopsmith?

Yeah, the Poopsmith's a good guy. Not many people would take that job.
Think happy thoughts.
