What if...?

Talk about anything in here.

What if...?

Postby Locke » Mon Jun 28, 2004 7:40 pm

i just read a LJ but wanted to write something like that but seeing what happened decided against it. :stressed:

sooo

What if Vash and Kenshin were here? or the other great anime characters?

would Love and Peace be our National anthem?

would wandering the countryside be our pasttime?

or would we all just blow everything up while goin after Vash? :stressed:

I'd start a Vash the Stampede for President campaign and try to get him elected. Heck, same for Kenshin. They could be running mates.

As long as Wolfwood could be on the presidents staff I would consider voting for them.

Well, I was, for a while, thinking of creating a "Vote for Wolfwood" website... someone even made me a button for it. A friend of mine said that "Wolfwood would make an excellet Conservative candidate." "He'd have the Christian Coalition and the NRA sewn up!"

Vash and Wolfwood were both of high moral standards, I'd gladly elect them for president/vice president any day.

Kenshin could be the a General

Um... I havent' seen much RK, and I know Kenshin fought in a revolution and is a great warrior and all... but isn't he a pacifist? Well... if Vash were elected President, I doubt he'd declare war on anybody. Wolfwood would with the right motivation. Hmm.

I don't think any of the Haibane would make good cabinet members... they're more like... live in the countryside... and farm... or work at various places in a small town... or something.

I don't even want to see what Ikari Gendou would do with the nation...

sometimes a pacifist is the best person to lead a war.

other times force is needed. Kenshin certainly knows the difference.

The only problem is that Kenshin would make all of the solders fight with rubber bullets and reverse-blade swords, which doesn't actually work unless you are far superior to your opponent/s. ;)

LJ? What's that? And if guns had rubber bullets, they could still do damage...doesn't the Trigun have rubber bullets?

My baby's already President of The Bishies, why not President of America?

They would still do damage, but they would be far from lethal. Police sometimes use rubber bullets when they don't want to kill a suspect; however, I doubt that the Trigun (isn't it called the angel arm?) uses rubber bullets, as it clearly leaves bullet holes in people when they are hit.

Whoever said that... may I use that somewhere? I don't know where yet, but it seems like something that would make an excellent quote for a story - one of my fantasy world stories or something, someday. I just... like the quote - oxymoronic a bit, but... neat.
They would still do damage, but they would be far from lethal. Police sometimes use rubber bullets when they don't want to kill a suspect]Please read below.
Actually, in one episode, Vash loaded his Angel Arms with rubber bullets when he was hired to kill two young teens who had fled a caravan. Vash shot the two with the rubber bullets to give the appearance of killing them (they were knocked down out of sight), when in fact, they were alive and in good condition. Wolfwood, feinging indignation that Vash had killed the two (the priest and Milly had assisted in their escape), snatched the Angel Arms and shot Vash at point-blank in the face, causing Vash to yelp and tell Wolfwood not to shoot the gun so close. It is then shown that the bullets were rubber, and Vash and Wolfwood take Vash's payment and beat the snot out of the men who hired Vash.
That's why Kenshin's team would consist of the entire Kenshin crew!

I said that in an earlier post....I don't think I've ever heard that said either as it was spawn of my own thought, so yes...you can use it.
