in all the profiles i see "so and so isnt a member of any public groups" what are these public groups anyway?

Public Groups is a feature built into Vbulletin that allows you to have different cliques/clubs on site. Right now the only one we use are the Administrators (red usernames) and the moderators (blue usernames). We've gone round and round on this as a staff about whether or not to implement them.
