As soon as my dad's here, I'M DEAD.

In a previous thread in the Manga section, I made a request for a list of cleaner volumes of Ranma 1/2. Unfortunately, I had to leave before the list got posted, if it did. Nevertheless, I made a mad rush(mentally) to grab one. I heard was pretty clean. :sweat:

Wrong-o....... :wow!:

Just so happens, it's JUST THE ONE where they introduce a character that creates an element of... well, disaster. :stressed:

Not to mention one of the things I was trying to avoid in the first place, there was a whole CHAPTER chock-full of it. :wow!:

I need

, or at least some sympathy... I had to say goodbye as soon as I said hello...

Oh well. At least I'll get to see all of 'yall in heaven...

Actually, things didn't turn out as bad as I thought... for the most part.

She checked it out, asked if she could rip out the pages (I begged her to do so, in a slightly crazed state), and told me that I should probably stay away from the series. She later described to me what I know isn't takahashi's work, but enough to freak my mom out: She had seen, apparently, a manga that involved... no. For the sake of younger members, I will not state what went on... nevertheless, I know that it wasn't the original.

This little experience has actually made me realize something. If it IS our mission to bring people to Christ, possibly by anime/manga, then it's OUR DUTY to clean up its act a bit! We're already on our way, but what we need is some manga artists to wipe out the market with MUCH cleaner stuff.

It's terrible that I have to near-abandon my favorite series (There's always fanfiction and fanmanga), but I at least know what it is that we as anime/manga fans need, and we've been zeroing in on it gradually: Christian anime/manga.

(Good thing my mom decided to keep the whole bit a secret.)

Sorry I didn't post sooner, I bet you bought volume 6. I was going to warn you away from 6 and 9. 3, 8, and 10 are all clean. The rest of 1-10 all have a scene of Ranma bathing to change back or something similar, but nothing too bad. I'll post again in the manga section just incase anyone else looks at it and is curious.

UPDATE!!!!

I discussed the crazy outcome of things with my mom (my dad still not having a clue), and God, being the forgiving guy he is, decided to have her give me a second chance. She agrees, however, that I should have been more careful.

I'm back in the game!

See, I wouldn't go near stuff that my parents wouldn't like in the first place...I think that was your first mistake. Before, on a previous thread, I told you that this wasn't a good idea, and it turned out the way I knew it would. In the future, be careful about what you read. Parents just want to look out for you, and trying to get around what they want (no, I'm not saying that you were) isn't right.
