Some parties are okay. Some aren't. Like if someone breaks out a keg halfway through the night, or people show up drunk or stoned, I’ll leave without thinking twice about it.
Luckily that’s only happened twice so far; because the bonfires/parties that I usually go to are mostly populated by kids from my youth group and/or college-aged past youth groupers.

Me, I like bonfire parties. Hanging out and talking with a large group of people is loads of fun. Some of the craziest things happen around a fire pit at 2AM.

PARTY!!!!!!!!!!!

I'v enever gone to a high school party in my life forutantly....wait yeah I have. One of my friends took me along (he said I needed to get out once a while). Well I ended up leaving cause he was stoned and I walked home  lus no one talked to me cause I sat in the corner and watched or read a book while people were bieng crazy. Alot people gav me strange looks cause I dressed rather gothic that night just to see what people would do.

it was a nice, clear night out so I had fun.
I didnt enjoy it at all....I'm very much a people person but only to people inmy group.

I go to alot of parties that my youth group friends have and I throw some too.

I never liked parties...I go reluctantly, rather more out of obligation than a need for fun. But if I find a few good friends there, I tend to have a good time. By the end of it I'm socially drained though. I'm kinda an introvert too.

Nothing wrong with parties to me. Just depends on who's there, and what they plan to do.

I've attended parties and they can be lotsa fun. I've unfortunately stereotype the ones where ppl get drunk and do stupid things as fraternity parties.

I used to love parties when I was young, and I love throwing parties now. It all depends on the people who come to the party.

Now, I usually have small gatherings at my house or get-togethers, since I don't like big crowds. When I was young I only went to parties with my youth group friends and we always had a blast. I have never been to the kind of keg parties that you see in the movies, only my siblings did that. ^__^

[size=84][color=seagreen]YOU SEE

You see into the deepest part of me ---

beyond the fog I hide behind.

You cast your light upon the shadows

that stretch like cobwebs in my mind.

You ease the pain when I am hurting,

and morbid visions from my past

pierce into the realm of Reason

as though I danced on blades of glass.

You grant me strength when I have fallen

and, once again, I've lost my way.

You take my hand in Yours and lead me

into the promise of a brand new day.

You bring order to all my chaos,

yet set my well-laid plans awry.

You place me on a firm foundation ---

then give me wings so I can fly.

You sand away my roughened edges

and polish all the dullest parts

until I stand before Your presence...

a newly-sculpted work of art.

You see into the heart within me,

right through my motives and selfish will.

And yet, in spite of all You see

You say You love me even still.

I like going to parties. ^_^ It all depends on the people who are going though. Course, I went to an end of the school year party without any of my good friends once and had a total blast. I've never been to a party like you see on movies though, with a whole bunch of dancing and crap. It's always been people I know from school, and we go to a Christian school, so mostly we don't have to worry about things like alchohol at a party. Mostly.

The choice has been made. There's no looking back. I won't let up, back up, give up, or shut up. My focus clear. My path is straight. My God, reliable. I'm a disciple of Christ.

Gods plan is like the sun. its too big and bright to look at directly, and sometimes the rain clouds cover it, but sometimes the plan dapples through the clouds and we can see beautiful glimpses of what he has in store for us.

I have been to a couple good Halo parties, and cookouts. But that’s about he extent of my ‘partying.’ Most of the time, there is a reason why we are there; to play a game, or watch a movie or something. I’m not really into hanging out, just for the sake of hanging out.
Things like that are just way to boring for me.

The other type of party I can think of is the dancing, loud music, probably some drinking, type of party. Those, I have never been to. So I could only speculate why people like to go to them…
Depend on it. God's work done in God's way will never lack God's supply. He is too wise a God to frustrate His purposes for lack of funds, and He can just as easily supply them ahead of time as afterwards, and He much prefers doing so.
- J. Hudson Taylor
I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?" "Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet. You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times." It was all true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach. He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.

ummm... i've been to birthday parties... and ummm project graduation was sort of a party... but mostly I don't do the whole be around large groups of people thing (guess that makes me an introvery?). And since we live in the middle of nowhere and half an hour away from all social ties i have other than my immediate family i don't do much partying. My step-dad actually called me the hermit for a while... never been to a party with drinking and junk except the above mentioned birthday parties and it was my adults drinking so i basically hung out outside or in my room till the guests left (not like they were drunk or anything just it bothered me)

I've been to a Halo party, countless stand around and hang out with peeps parties, several youth parties (which are like the last one... only with a pool.), and yeah.. that's about it.. I don't exactly call them parties, though. Mostly, we just hang out and talk. The only exciting thing I remember was some kid was speeding around my friend's neighborhood and spun out.

It was dark out when we shot 'em so it looked awesome.
They stayed lit from a few seconds in the air because we didn't want to put too much napalm on them just in case there was a misfire and accidentally have the entire field up in smoke (we may be stupid, but we’re not stupid).
We only got off a few shots though because it warped the PVC something nasty, but it was worth it. Just don't try that at home kiddies :forehead:
