NBA Finals

I decided to create this thread before the current NBA finals between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Detroit Pistons end. I am assuming this thread can be used when next year's matchup comes along.

As for my comments about the current finals, I always believed that Detroit will eventually get the upper hand, but I am surprised at how Detroit has outplayed Los Angeles consistently in every single game.

As for who I wish to win, well, Larry Brown has not won a championship and neither has Karl Malone or Gary Payton. So, I ended up cheering for Detroit since I like seeing strong team defense in any sport.

So far, the finals has been enjoyable for me.

I am really happy the Pistons won. Now the arrogance from Shaq and Kobe might die down a bit.
