Fire in Town

Postby silvanis2.0 » Thu Aug 08, 2013 3:25 pm

Hello again, praying friends.
There is a fire in my little forest town. Since this place hasn't burned in a VERY long time, there's a lot of deadfall and a high risk that this fire could take off. My family and I are packed in case of evacuation, but others may not be as readily prepared or able to put their supplies together by themselves. Please pray that our firefighters can put out the fire in time and that nobody is hurt.

Thank you for the prayers!

The fire has spread, but no houses have been harmed. There has been one evacuation for the east part of town. Happily, we've got lots of water dropping aircraft and firemen on foot that are knocking down the flames. The only problem is that the wind has picked up and is blowing back toward town. Continued prayers for the safety of the town and the firefighters would be greatly appreciated!

Sorry I'm late in seeing this, but I'm praying.

They have shewed thee, O teen, what is good; and what doth the world require of thee, but to fit in, be wealthy, have good looks, and be rebellious? -Peer Pressure 1:1

Thank you, everyone! The fire has moved away from town and is not threatening any homes. They've got it mostly contained now. :D
