Manga Pen Ink

Postby Jaela » Wed Jun 09, 2004 1:06 pm

I recently purchased a set of manga pens which should arrive soon. I just had a quick question. The website I purchased my pens from was sold out of the manga pen ink temporarily, but my local Michael's sells calligraphy ink and I hear that works just as well. My question is, should I wait for the manga ink to come back into stock, or will calligraphy ink really be just as effective?

I use any sort of waterproof black ink for drawings, specifically Higgins Black Magic drawing ink for a pen that requires dipped ink, I really dont whow what would be special about the manga ink... Otherwise I use waterproof Sakura Micron pens.

okay, thanks. I just mainly wanted to know if there was any huge advantage to using manga ink over ony other ink, but I suppose not.
