you can tell by the comments that fans are upset about this.

marvel pull the same thing with spiderman years ago in 2009 with the chameleon impersonating peter parker, seduced his female roommate and the panel end with them going to the floor. there was sucha uproar, that marvel had to damage control it by saying, "they only made out".

peter guilt and values were instilled in ock as a last dying action. hopefully it will make him hesiant to pursue relations with mj but with marvel I highly doubt it, it seems like they trived in controvery

I was done with Spiderman as of Brand New Day. The entire spiderman writing staff is terrible.

Quesada is to Marvel what Michael Bay is to Transformers.

I'd say he's worse. At least Bay didn't ruin the CORE CHARACTER of a superhero that's been around for over 50 years. Unless he did that in dark of the moon, I didn't see that one. What Quesada did to Spiderman is like if Bay had made Optimus Prime a cannibal, and he'd eaten bumblebees heart first.

Following comics became pointless for me in the last decade. While some stories were interesting (eg. Civil War, and Secret Invasion), ultimatley this doesn't affect me much.

Although, I don't see this lasting for longer than a few years (Marvel very very rarely keeps their characters permanatley dead. Ever.)

Everyone should read newspaper Spider-Man. It is literally the best.

Recently in newspaper Spider-Man, Kraven trained a monkey to break into a museum and steal a valuable tiara. Spider-Man followed the monkey and watched it steal the tiara while doing nothing to stop it. Then Kraven snuck up behind Spider-Man and hit him in the back of the head, knocking him unconscious because spider sense only works sometimes. Also earlier while he was hanging around a casino in Vegas, some guy told Peter "Hey mop this floor" and Peter was like "Okay I guess I'm a janitor now I'll mop the floor."

It isn't as great as the Clown-9 story arc where Spider-Man got utterly defeated by a guy with no super powers in a clown suit, but it's still fantastic.

so yeah read superior spiderman 1 and apparently Ghost Peter is still around prevented Spock from killing a villian, hopefully he will prevent him from committing date rape with MJ.
