Yes and no. But yes, most of the time] Look at Jim Cavaziel. He starred in The Passion and tried to play in uplifting, Christian-themed movies. But now, he's in Person of Interest, which is hardly a Christian-themed show. But he has to make money and unfortunately, now he has to put his religion on the side.rocklobster (post: 1600048) wrote:My problem with this is that we should realize actors have to make money and often have no say in what their roles can be.
That's very interesting, I hadn't heard anything about that. Could you send me a link with him saying something about it? Off topic, but he's going to be in Thor 2 and I'm pretty stoked.goldenspines (post: 1600065) wrote:Take Zachary Levi for example (lead man in the show Chuck), who played in several popular roles in TV and Movie (Flynn Ryder in Tangled) and was still able to keep his personal faith.

Then there's this show. Everybody needs to watch this show.

Wait, we declared war on Zachary Levi? Since when? I don't recall reading about it in the Soros Socialist Times that came with my monthly welfare check. I guess with the War on Christmas in full swing it must have just slipped by. Darn my tiny liberal brain!

I can quote what he said, but I don't think the mag would still have the write up.
In a 2002 interview with Relevant Magazine, he said, "My job on my set, I believe, is to first just love people and gain that trust with people where they know that I really do love them and care about their well-being, so that when they are running into problems, they will hopefully, at some point, come to me and ask me, 'What is your peace all about? What is your comfort all about? Where do you get your love? Where do you get your talents?' And I can turn to them and say without blinking, 'Jesus Christ.'"
