Have you purchased/received a new game lately? Post 'em here.

As some of you may know, my family is moving to Alberta. While cleaning out the house, we've come across some rather interesting findings such as:

Call of Duty: World at War (Wii, MISP)

Rainbow Six: Critical Hour (Xbox, MISP)

Halo 2 (Xbox, MISP- this one really surprised me)

...and last but not least...

"Collectors Edition" Ghost Recon Collection (PC, once again, MISP. Came with a bunch of goodies including a military-styled cap, a shirt, a messenger bag, a camo belt, and of course, the games.)

I ended up on GOG buying
The Whispered World
Botanicula
Machinariun (collector's edition)
Blackwell Bundle
Sam & Max: The Devil's Playhouse
Wallace and Gromit's Grand Adventures (though I can't seem to access a key part to the first part of the game. Can't finish it because of that >.>)

And on Steam buying
Magical Diary
Recettear

and recieved Torchlight as a gift.

Went thrift storing a couple weeks ago, got a huge haul (all for PC):

Need for Speed Underground
Battlefield 1942 Compete Collection
Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time
SimCoaster (more for nostalgia's sake than anything else; turns out it doesn't run on 64-bit computers...)
Unreal Tournament 2004
MDK 2

Last game I bought was Persona 4 Arena. Trying not to buy a lot of new games for a while. I'm going to need to get the One Piece game that comes out this month though, gotta support them bringing more of those games over here.

I had some issues running a few of the maps at first, but then I messed with the compatibility settings (under Properties) and it worked like a charm. Set the compatibility mode to Windows 98/ME and see what happens.

^ Oh man, you are in for a treat! Wind Waker is amazing, by far my favorite Zelda. (it was also my first one so I might be as biased as the people who swear by the originals XD)

Hah! Well for me Twilight Princess was my first Zelda experience. People would often give me the strange look for not having played Ocarina of Time and Wind Waker. :bootout:

I'm about an hour in so far and I love it! Art style is so awesome! :D

WindWaker and Majora's Mask are the only Zelda games I have never played. Maybe one day.

My friend recently bought F.E.A.R 3, so I played the last 3 missions with him on co-op. never again.

@johnaze: TP, really? I haven't met many people who played that one first, it should be interesting to see how you like the rest of the series. :)

@Druxcian: You neeeeed to play them, they are the best! :D I want to replay Majora's Mask pretty badly but I know as soon as I start it they'll announce a 3DS remake. >_<

I have recently bought and started playing King of Dragon Pass. That game has turned out to be pretty good in all its duck person genocide glory.
