Where exactly did you hear it from?

I'm wondering because since seasons 1, and 2 premiered in October, I wouldn't think it would be in September now.

So I finally got around to watching the 2-part finale of season 2. That was a great story, if I do say so myself!

I might even venture to call those the best 2 episodes yet.

I heard it in the chatroom yesterday at Everfree's website.
Oh and Bio, I re-listened to the interview with Maddy. This was back in December of last year, but she did say she had been recording an episode so there might be one.

My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic is a fantastic show and yes I am not afraid to admit that. The show is well written and beautifully animated. It is quite good and actually funny. It is nice to see a show made for little girls that doesn't treat them like idiots. The jokes are intelligent but understandable. They preform stellar comedy that can enjoyed by kids and adults without resorting to dirty jokes or innuendo.
The show is just so addicting. It basically goes like this: Step 1: "A new My Little Pony show? That's dumb! I'll never watch that!" Step 2: Wow lots of people are talking about this. I guess I will watch one episode just to make fun of it...yeah!" Step 3: "Well that wasn't so bad...maybe I will just one more and then stop" "Step 4: "Onto episode 12! I love me the ponies!!!!"
I mean just look at my signature! That says it all!!!
Anyway, any guy who hates on this show either A.) Does not have a sense of humor or B.) Has not watched an episode.
I guarantee after one episode you will want to watch another and then another and then another and before you know it you will have come into the fold as a fellow Brony.
One other interesting fact: Series developer/creator Lauren Faust is wife to Craig McCracken creator of The Powerpuff Girls and Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends.

Edit: I'm not trolling here. I thought this was pretty funny because it's so clear that they ripped off MLP for their toy and box designs.

Anyway, I think I'm most excited about a Scootaloo episode. There's been enough confirmation and rumors around. But I'm also a little nervous at what direction they're going to go with her.
I also hope that HUB or Hasbro will, sooner or later, address the little issue about season 3, I'm interested in what their decisions are.

The bottom link is a link to a DVD being released on the same date as above that will contain all of season 1 of the series.

I can't be sure, but the top link could mean that season 3 is indeed coming soon.

wouldn't that be awesome, also Why is Spike on the cover of season 1 so [SIZE="1"]tiny?[/SIZE] he should be about as wide as just under half of twilight when you look at her from the side and about as wide at her from the front but he looked like a teeny tiny shopped image that they probably should have resized

Because of the wedding rerun and hype? I really hope so, I think HUB has been trolling us long enough. :cool:

Finally! Some big spoilery news. We have the synopsis for the first two episodes of S3. It was revealed on the "Adventures in the Crystal Empire DVD" EqD link here.

The DVD comes with the two first episodes of S3 and Sonic Rainboom; Luna Eclipsed; It's About Time. The DVD release is Dec 4th, so we at least know S3 will start before that. :grin:

The Synopsis: (and it's really awesome)
[spoiler]In Adventures in the Crystal Empire, a magical empire has suddenly appeared in the arctic north of Equestria, and PRINCESS CELESTIA needs TWILIGHT SPARKLE and her friends to find a way to protect it. This news is making me even more psyched for season 3!

The story seems interesting too..... I'm curious to see how its going to turn out.

A September 29 release would be really, really nice. But I think HUB has confirmed recently that there won't be a release until Q4, so somewhere from October onwards then. I have no source though.

So apparently, according to the Hub's Facebook page, this is in quotes,

"The My Little Pony Friendship is Magic crew is hard at work on the new season! Just between us ponies, we're less than 30 days away from announcing the season 3 premiere date/time!"

Well, its not a release date, but at least they aren't being as much of a troll as they had been earlier.
