Church Softball Team?

Hi everyone, im on my churches softball team and we play against other churches, does anyone else have a softball or sports team? anyway today was our first game and we did great im suprised i didnt even strike out i was so happy it was sooo much fun everyone looked like they had fun..

thats cool i was catcher last night!! some girl fouled the ball back and it hit me right above my eye i have a bruise now and some other guy threw the bat and it hit me in the shin that hurt really bad.. my coach said we arent really going to have assigned positions but i think ill be out field tomorrow night i did pretty good at practice in the out field

Oh my dad used to play softball at our church, it was great fun to watch. Till he ya know... *whispers*got old *runs before dad beats crap out of*. I've also played once or twice with our church before. Not my sport tho, I was terrible with a capital T!

you probably werent that bad lol should of seen me at our first practice but then i went out and bought a bat of my own.. im use to baseball bats so i had to go buy a shorter one and now ive been batting pretty good

I am on my church softball team for the third year, and I enjoy it most of the time. I am not very good at fielding (but getting better! ), but then again I had never played baseball or softball until I started on the church team. I can hit, though.

thats cool im not that great of a hitter i found i have to use my body to hit instead of my arms because the ball is so slow but in baseball you can just use your arms because the ball is faster.. also inferno what position did you try playing?
