Since November's coming up, I'm probably going to be needing some prayer. This year will mark five years since my grandma went home to be with Jesus.

We were very close - she lived with me throughout most of my life, and was pretty much like a second mom to me. Sometimes it feels like it was just yesterday, while other times it feels like it's been twice as long... But regardless, it really hurts not having her here. Please pray that I'll continue to find peace in the Lord, and know that through Him, I'll be able to be with her again someday.

Besides, I know she wouldn't want me to feel miserable. So, I'll try not to let it get to me *too* much... It's a lot easier said than done, though.

Thank you for your prayers and understanding, Topaz. They are much appreciated. Things are still kind of rough (in more ways than one, since this is a bit of a harder season), but I'm doing my best to lean on God through it all. If anybody can get me through this, it's definitely Him.
