But yes, when a warning comes on then usually it means you should be in the safe area, since there might not be time for a signal before it strikes. Rule of thumb- if there are sirens, get in the area. Again, there were only 10 seconds between then the sirens went off and the tornado touched down across the street from my aunt's.
