I would design the entire graphics system for the olympics for that much... not just the the logo. And it would actually say 2012, and reflect the venue. That logo doesn't say London to me. The Brazil logo looks a LOT more Olympic and interesting... the London one didn't even seem to bother to note the colors of the Olymic flag either, or the host nations flag. Somehow, they actually failed to use the colors on a flag that has EVERY BASIC COLOR.

Yeah, I could understand if someone thought it said "ZIOR", but not "ZION". Because you'd have to rotate your head for the last letter, which is inconsistent.

My $.02, they need a new graphic designer cuz that's a terrible logo. As for the racism, I'm 1/4 heritage Jew and personally, I don't take offense in it. I wouldn't have known it said Zion nor 2012. If I banned the logo, it would be because it was poorly done.

I find the logo offensive for being ugly and they paid someone for this crap.
