So, this is a prayer request *and* a praise report...Basically, those who've talked to me throughout the years I've been here may more or less know that I've been dealing with a lot of issues. I had a very troubled childhood, but now that several hard stages in my life have passed, I'm feeling the need to move on.
I'm truly feeling like God has given me a second chance at life... I've been mistreated and victimized more times than I can count, but now, I feel it's all over, and a new chapter has begun. God is healing my heart, and has given me the friendships I've been needing all this time... especially the friendship I have with Christ.
I'm currently reading a book called "Unpacking Forgiveness". I'm finding it very eye-opening and insightful... It's truly shown me so much about forgiveness I've never realized before, and I feel like I'm finally learning to let go of all the bitterness and heartaches that have been inflicted on me for the last several years.
That is my praise report. Now, for my prayer request... I can already see the enemy trying to put forks in the road to bring me down... But, I *refuse* to let him have a foothold here. Please pray for me as I continue to fight these forks he's trying to put in my way, because I know I'm more than a conqueror in Christ.
