MyrrhLynn, I'm so disappointed in you. Anyone who is cool enough to use Raquel as their avatar has no business voting against Iria. ;)

What a great idea, Myrrhlynn! And while you're changing Iria you can also change it to Rei Ayanami in group 1. I noticed you mistakenly wrote down Kaoru.

[size=84][color=seagreen]YOU SEE

You see into the deepest part of me ---

beyond the fog I hide behind.

You cast your light upon the shadows

that stretch like cobwebs in my mind.

You ease the pain when I am hurting,

and morbid visions from my past

pierce into the realm of Reason

as though I danced on blades of glass.

You grant me strength when I have fallen

and, once again, I've lost my way.

You take my hand in Yours and lead me

into the promise of a brand new day.

You bring order to all my chaos,

yet set my well-laid plans awry.

You place me on a firm foundation ---

then give me wings so I can fly.

You sand away my roughened edges

and polish all the dullest parts

until I stand before Your presence...

a newly-sculpted work of art.

You see into the heart within me,

right through my motives and selfish will.

And yet, in spite of all You see

You say You love me even still.

The Votes Are CLOSED!!

well the results are in. I gave you guys extended time but alas no one voted so here's the results :)

_______________________________________-

Group 2
Naru Narusegawa (Love Hina) 25
Image

vs.
Belldandy (Oh! My Goddess) 34
Image

This little group surprised me in how close Naru actually got to Belldandy, actually going ahead of her for a while until the goddess got a second wind from her loyal supporters and blew ahead of Naru to claim admission to the 3rd Round.
_________________________________________

Group 3
Mireille Bouquet (Noir) 30
Image

vs.
Motoko Aoyama (Love Hina) 30
Image

Thanks for information form True Noir Chloe and Mave, this one ended up in a atie so both of them go to the next round :D
________________________________________

Group 4
Reika Mishima (RahXephon) 11
Image

vs.
Riku (D.N. Angel) 48
Image

NOOO!!!! ::holds back tears:: Ok, Im good. Riku totally demolishes, chews, and spits out (very bishoujouy of her  ) Reika. Sje moves ahead holding her head up high as she advances to the next round (with Hitokiri in the distance crying his eyes out)
_________________________________________

Group 5
Saki (Steel Angel Kurami) 46
Image

vs.
Anko (Naruto) 13
Image

Yet again another one-sided fight, Saki with her nex picture defeats the Anko the ninja in what can be commneted as "Saki owning Anko". Hopefully (and for Elrickun) Saki will do very well in the upcoming Rounds.
________________________________________

Group 6
Asuka Langley Soryu (Neon Genesis Evangelion) 39
Image

vs.
Deedlit (Record of Lodoss War) 21
Image

::Hitokiri holds up and waves a flag with Asuka's picture, asuka hat, giant hand with a pointing finger saying Asuka, I Love Asuka T-shirt, and Asuka shoes:: Asuka blows past Deedlit with her Evangelion. Sad to say, the runner up for the Best Couple Contest, Deedlit, couldn't save herself even with her elf ears. Though Deedlit fought valiantly against formiable odds and was defeated with honor.
_____________________________________

Group 7
Iria (Iria) 27
Image

vs.
Chi (Chobits) 32
Image

A battle for the most part was neck and neck until Chi got her sudden spurt of votes and went ahead of Iria. Despite Iria's skillz with a gun and weapons, she still couldn't defeat the Chobit and is soundly defeated.
_______________________________________

Group 8
Faye Valentine (Cowboy Bebop) 40
Image

vs.
Chidori Kanami (Full Metal Panic) 19
Image

Hard Luck Women. Well obviously luck doesn't have anything to do with it as Faye smothers Chidori. She must have some mad skillz. Chidori did put up with a fight but with faye's bad girl attitude, she owned the comeptition.
__________________________________

Group 9
Tohru Honda (Fruits Basket) 35
Image

vs.
Sango (Inuyasha) 24
Image

The loveable Bishoujo is back from the Bonus Round defeating one of the girls, Sango, from the same contest. Tohru easily defeated Sango, even though at the last part Sango seemed to be getting alot of votes. Alas it was to late the Fruits Basket girl advances towards Round 3.

___________________________

There we go! All these lovelt Bishoujo's that won will return for Round 3.

Wait...am I missing something ::looks at thread:: I guess not.

Aslo I will be starting the next contest tommorow.

Yeah Tohru!!!! Everything turned out as would like-- except for Rei, of course. So sad. . .
Every year in Uganda, innumerable children simply. . . disappear. These children all stolen under the cover of darkness from their homes and impressed into the guerilla armies of the LRA [Lord's Resistance Army]. In the deserts of Uganda, they are forced to witness the mindless slaughter of other children until they themselves can do nothing but kill. Kill. These children, generally ranging from ages 5-12, are brainwashed into murdering in the name of the resistance and into stealing other children from their beds to suffer the same fate.

Because of this genocide of innocence, hundred and hundreds of children live every night sleeping in public places miles from their homes, because they know that if the do not-- they will disappear. They will become just another number in this genocide to which the international community has chosen to turn a blind eye. They will become, in affect, invisible-- Invisible Children.

But there are those who are trying to fight against this slaughter of Uganda's children. They fight to protect these "invisible children." Please, help them help a country full of children who know nothing by fear. Help save the innocence. For more information concerning how you can help and how you can get an incredible video about this horrific reality, visit the Invisible Children home page.

I've added the votes twice and I came up with a little different results, Hitokiri for some of your results:

EDIT: I'm recounting for the 3rd time. We will get back with you on the final, final results. ^_^ There may be a tie.
