The Legend of the Seeker

Postby Ella Edric » Tue Feb 08, 2011 12:59 pm

Has anyone seen this series? It's ended now. But I was curious if anyone had watched it while it was going. My family recently finished watching this series. If you've seen it, what are your opinions of it? :?

My opinions:
I honestly thought it wasnt very good, but was kinda funny to watch the writers blunder around with the plot. XD I mean, it had it's high points, but the writers piled too much stuff into the plot. And I thought the series finale was a mess. XD;

What do y'all think, if theres any of you who watch/watched it?

Didn't care for it and only watch half of the first season as I was reading The Sword of Truth books.

The Legend of the Seeker takes place in the world author Terry Goodkind created in his The Sword of Truth fantasy novel series and the first season is loosely based on the first book of The Sword of Truth series Wizard's First Rule.
Some of the stories feature events and characters not encountered in the books, while others loosely adapt events from the book.

So in other words, the book series is better then the TV series.

Problem is, midway through Goodkind decides to start putting his political spin on things and spends more time on that than on the story.

^ That, I knew and should have mentioned when starting this thread. XD

But yeah, I definately agree with the both of you. I can kinda see why the series was cancelled after only two seasons. XD;
