....the results for the Rei vs Kaoru..

Postby Hitokiri » Thu May 13, 2004 5:04 pm

I thought it would be something fun to do something sepcial for one of the cloests and violent and on the edge of your seat grouping in the conest.

so here we go..... the results for Group 1: Rei Ayanami and Koaru Kamiya...

Note: I'm just the messenger, so dont shoot me!!

Rei Ayanmi (Neon Genesis Evangelion) 30
Image

vs
Koaru Kamiya (Rurouni Kenshin) 31
Image

Well...Kaoru won this group.

......this was a hard grouping. I mean hard!! And wierd! For instance Kaoru would be up ahead and then Rei would be up ahead.

Last night it was tied for a while until Rei got a vote which pushed her ahead and then Kaoru recieved two votes which put her in the lead until I finished the contest (thats why I extended it to give Rei a chance).

So Kaoru Kamiya is the winner and will go onto Round 3.

::Hides from Rei fanatics with thier huge mahcine guns and the celebrating Kaoru fans waving katanas in the air::

This is defeintly hazardous for my health...

Wow, by one vote!!!!
Every year in Uganda, innumerable children simply. . . disappear. These children all stolen under the cover of darkness from their homes and impressed into the guerilla armies of the LRA [Lord's Resistance Army]. In the deserts of Uganda, they are forced to witness the mindless slaughter of other children until they themselves can do nothing but kill. Kill. These children, generally ranging from ages 5-12, are brainwashed into murdering in the name of the resistance and into stealing other children from their beds to suffer the same fate.

Because of this genocide of innocence, hundred and hundreds of children live every night sleeping in public places miles from their homes, because they know that if the do not-- they will disappear. They will become just another number in this genocide to which the international community has chosen to turn a blind eye. They will become, in affect, invisible-- Invisible Children.

But there are those who are trying to fight against this slaughter of Uganda's children. They fight to protect these "invisible children." Please, help them help a country full of children who know nothing by fear. Help save the innocence. For more information concerning how you can help and how you can get an incredible video about this horrific reality, visit the Invisible Children home page.

I wonder whose one vote pushed it over for Kaoru? *ahem* Anyway, that was a very, very close race. I can't say the best one won, since she didn't, but hey it's over for now.

You see into the deepest part of me ---

beyond the fog I hide behind.

You cast your light upon the shadows

that stretch like cobwebs in my mind.

You ease the pain when I am hurting,

and morbid visions from my past

pierce into the realm of Reason

as though I danced on blades of glass.

You grant me strength when I have fallen

and, once again, I've lost my way.

You take my hand in Yours and lead me

into the promise of a brand new day.

You bring order to all my chaos,

yet set my well-laid plans awry.

You place me on a firm foundation ---

then give me wings so I can fly.

You sand away my roughened edges

and polish all the dullest parts

until I stand before Your presence...

a newly-sculpted work of art.

You see into the heart within me,

right through my motives and selfish will.

And yet, in spite of all You see

You say You love me even still.

indeed it was a close match. I might need to put a witness protection program around the people who boosted Kaoru ahead

Dear Kirika;

I'm contacting you again with regards to the Best Bishoujo contest. Fear not, Mireille won her grouping, but some how, Rei lost.

Would you do me a favor...

Money is no obect.

Out of curiousity, how does the vote for this group add up to 61, while the others are only 59?

We need to make sure no death threats are put on Hitokiri, and the witness protection program needs to apply to all who voted for Kaoru. Ya know, she looks even more bishoujo-ish when she's upset, like today when...

>>Um.... Wasn't there only 59 voters?

Yes, there was. And I came up with this total after counting twice:

Kaoru - 30 votes
Rei - 29 votes

Either way, Kaoru won by one vote, so no big.^_^

lol, yea XD lesse......
Rei can pilot an Eva(which could crush Kaoru easily....) and she's Lilith(who can make Kaoru explode easily.....)....
Kaoru can use a Boken and good sword fighting technique...which is useless against Rei inside an Eva or as Lilith...... Rei wins lol XD

I voted for Kaoru. *shrugs* I never really liked Rei.
