I like to watch a well-choreographed fight scene. It bores me when it's overdone though (i.e. totally unrealistic). For example, i like Jackie Chan movies, and Tomb Raider. I hate boxing... but some martial arts styles just look really cool in action.

Are we talking fights or fight scenes?
Every year in Uganda, innumerable children simply. . . disappear. These children all stolen under the cover of darkness from their homes and impressed into the guerilla armies of the LRA [Lord's Resistance Army]. In the deserts of Uganda, they are forced to witness the mindless slaughter of other children until they themselves can do nothing but kill. Kill. These children, generally ranging from ages 5-12, are brainwashed into murdering in the name of the resistance and into stealing other children from their beds to suffer the same fate.

Because of this genocide of innocence, hundred and hundreds of children live every night sleeping in public places miles from their homes, because they know that if the do not-- they will disappear. They will become just another number in this genocide to which the international community has chosen to turn a blind eye. They will become, in affect, invisible-- Invisible Children.

But there are those who are trying to fight against this slaughter of Uganda's children. They fight to protect these "invisible children." Please, help them help a country full of children who know nothing by fear. Help save the innocence. For more information concerning how you can help and how you can get an incredible video about this horrific reality, visit the Invisible Children home page.

For some reason I'm fond of violence in some type of written fiction...I laughed right through my readings of Carrie, The Shining, and Battle Royale...but for some reason I'm sick of any gore in cinema.

But the fighting in the Matrix rocks...yes.

I love a well-choreographed fight scene as well...:D Like the others said, it's no prob to me as long as it doesn't get gory.

People who write below their abilities in order to crank out tons of books and make a buck. Especially Christian authors who do that. Outsiders judge us for it, and make fun of us for it, and it makes Jesus look bad. We of all artists on earth should be the most concerned with doing our best possible work at all times. We of all people should write with all our hearts, as if writing for the Lord and not for men.

Yeah, good choreography is key, in my opinion. I don't mind animated gore much, but if it's realistic and/or actually happened (like in war movies), I can't take it.

Fighting is interesting to watch. ^_^ There are sometimes when you have to sit back and say, yah, never happen that way, but most well-done fights in, like, movies and crap are good. Two of my friends take Tae Kwon Do (sp?) and they're best friends, so they're always beating up on each other. Which is fun to watch.

The choice has been made. There's no looking back. I won't let up, back up, give up, or shut up. My focus clear. My path is straight. My God, reliable. I'm a disciple of Christ.

Gods plan is like the sun. its too big and bright to look at directly, and sometimes the rain clouds cover it, but sometimes the plan dapples through the clouds and we can see beautiful glimpses of what he has in store for us.

I gave Gypsy's uncle a solid head-butting once, does that count? :P

No seriously though, I like watching martial artists fight--I wish I could have done that growing up. I also like watching a good fencing match.

As for other kinds of fighting--like wrestling, meh, I tolerate it. *winks at the Mainer boys* I'm not fond of the sweeping war scapes in movies either. I prefer one on one to mass melee.

Fight scenes in movies and junk are great... basically if no real people die or are grieviously wounded fighting in general in funny, love watching my bro and his buddies roughhouse... though as I have absolutely no fighting skill I much prefer verbal sparring.

*lol* Ok, I'm a rather violent person by nature. If I like a person, I'll put 'em in a headlock. Appearently, people have been talking behind my back about it at school, and saying things like, "Dude! She's a man!" *rolls eyes* The guys are just all upset because they know I can take 'em. *grins* *lol* I luv to knock/get knocked around. It's so much fun. ^^ I like watching fights too. I luved the movie, The Last Samurai. It's just so pretty. Or course, it was very sad too, but definately better than the chick-flicks I'm ofter coarsed into watching. *lol* Anyway, when it comes to sports, my motto is 'play for blood, or don't play at all'. *lol* I'm joking. Sort of.
Love wins.

Contrary to my s/n....I dont really like fighting...lol.

I like martial arts movies though.

I like it in video games (what kinda game doesnt have some fighting??)
and in most movies i can take it.

In anime, it has to be very cool, because it tends to happen a lot. So the creators must think of new ways to present it and keep you intreasted.

I like watching my upperbelts spar, but i myself tend to sit out. My intreast goes into self defence and perfecting forms...lol.
(OH, but i love sparing and learning formes with a Bokken!*)

Mostly i like it, but if you have long millatary talks and then fighting, then more millatary stratiges and then fighting...i tend to zone....or if the show is just fighing...i zone.

*bokken is a woden sword used for training.

Ok, i think my post was way to long...:forehead:

I love movie fights! The Matrix shows just about everything I love in fight scenes. I mean it was just awesome! And I mean all three Matrix movies.
