I was all set to send an updated list to Kirika, and then I noticed that Mireille was up against Motoko. So, no new names have been transmitted.

Fine, but I haven't seen three of those series, and I don't like Chobits. *grumble* and neither Ryoko nor Kitsune are on the list.

1)Rei Ayanami
2)Naru Narusegawa (but Kitsune was way better)
3)Mireille
4)Reika
5) Saki
6)Deedlit
7)Iria
8)Faye Valentine (this was a though one)
9)Sango
The scientific method," Thomas Henry Huxley once wrote, "is nothing but the normal working of the human mind." That is to say, when the mind is working; that is to say further, when it is engaged in corrrecting its mistakes. Taking this point of view, we may conclude that science is not physics, biology, or chemistry—is not even a "subject"—but a moral imperative drawn from a larger narrative whose purpose is to give perspective, balance, and humility to learning.

Group 1: Rei... It was a tough choice... Eva vs Ruroken... I mean, I may as well say "Hitler vs Mussolini" **waits to be pelted by passing fanboys**

Group 2: Belldandy. This vote was more like "Creme Buleé vs Arsenic" **waits for Love Hina fanboy to kick me into the sun**

Group 3: Since I've only seen Love Hina, I'll have to go for Motoko... Only due to that pic... Looks like she's become less like she is, and more like she should be in that pic.

Group 4: Eeny Meeny miney Reika

Group 5: I really don't know... Saki... I guess... Never seen either show...

Group 6: I've only seen Eva extensively, but just one OVA of the other show...

Group 7: Chii... Just because she's cuter than Iria... I probably should feel bad voting for a robot over a human (or, I think Iria's human... I haven't seen much of it)

Group 8: I really don't like Faye, but I've never seen FMP... I'll go with the FMP chick just because I hate faye...

Group 9: Sango

Group 10: Ami AKA Sailormercury.

Group 11: Eliza Dushku (In a fight between Eliza Dushki and Tru, it was a hard decision, but I think I chose correctly)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=evcNPfZlrZs Watch this movie なう。 It's legal, free... And it's more than its premise. It's not saying Fast Food is good food. Just watch it.

Money, get away
Get a good job with good pay and you're okay
And all and all you're just another brick in the wall
Shoutin’ in the street gonna take on the world some day
But Bismallah will not let me go
Because I'll see you on the dark side of the moon

Tommy used to work on the docks
Union's been on strike
Bright eyes burning like fire
And exposing every weakness
However carefully hidden by the kids

Who will love a little Sparrow
Who's traveled far and cries for rest
Spare him his life from this monstrosity

I've seen a million faces and I've rocked them all
And if the band youre in starts playing different tunes
We will we will rock you
We will we will rock you!

For me, it was like Bananna Split (Naru) vs. Cold Stone Ice cream (Belldandy). Pretty close, but Cold stone has a dearer place in my heart.

But Chii has those funky droopy "goat" ears... why would anyone vote for that? Oh yes, you have upset the Imperial Order of Iria supporters...

Take note, Technomancer's already voted once. The other one doesn't count because he didn't vote for everyone. Tech, please edit that so it doesn't make the votes unfair.

Vote for IRIA!!!

[size=84][color=seagreen]YOU SEE

You see into the deepest part of me ---

beyond the fog I hide behind.

You cast your light upon the shadows

that stretch like cobwebs in my mind.

You ease the pain when I am hurting,

and morbid visions from my past

pierce into the realm of Reason

as though I danced on blades of glass.

You grant me strength when I have fallen

and, once again, I've lost my way.

You take my hand in Yours and lead me

into the promise of a brand new day.

You bring order to all my chaos,

yet set my well-laid plans awry.

You place me on a firm foundation ---

then give me wings so I can fly.

You sand away my roughened edges

and polish all the dullest parts

until I stand before Your presence...

a newly-sculpted work of art.

You see into the heart within me,

right through my motives and selfish will.

And yet, in spite of all You see

You say You love me even still.

The "goat" ears are more like cat ears or dog ears, and they've been a mainstay in robotic women for years... Nuku Nuku, Ping, um... others... And of course the REAL animal ears and tails in stuff like Hyper Police.

And do you know about the live action version of Iria that came before the anime? Hmm...

I want to see Pulse... It looked interesting...

Entirely off subject, I know... I stand by my decission, though... Not necissarily by my bad spelling and grammer, though...

The choice has been made. There's no looking back. I won't let up, back up, give up, or shut up. My focus clear. My path is straight. My God, reliable. I'm a disciple of Christ.

Gods plan is like the sun. its too big and bright to look at directly, and sometimes the rain clouds cover it, but sometimes the plan dapples through the clouds and we can see beautiful glimpses of what he has in store for us.

Every year in Uganda, innumerable children simply. . . disappear. These children all stolen under the cover of darkness from their homes and impressed into the guerilla armies of the LRA [Lord's Resistance Army]. In the deserts of Uganda, they are forced to witness the mindless slaughter of other children until they themselves can do nothing but kill. Kill. These children, generally ranging from ages 5-12, are brainwashed into murdering in the name of the resistance and into stealing other children from their beds to suffer the same fate.

Because of this genocide of innocence, hundred and hundreds of children live every night sleeping in public places miles from their homes, because they know that if the do not-- they will disappear. They will become just another number in this genocide to which the international community has chosen to turn a blind eye. They will become, in affect, invisible-- Invisible Children.

But there are those who are trying to fight against this slaughter of Uganda's children. They fight to protect these "invisible children." Please, help them help a country full of children who know nothing by fear. Help save the innocence. For more information concerning how you can help and how you can get an incredible video about this horrific reality, visit the Invisible Children home page.

This is really only a contest for fun. We should all not take it so seriously.

Don't worry SManBeyond, your vote is your decision. *slaps hand away from the cookies* Sorry, cookies are for Iria and Rei voters only. Oh wait, you voted for Saki, I guess you can have one cookie. *hands SManBeyond a cookie* ^_^

wow, this is now the mangafanatic thread. groovy. i thinks i know how old she is. however, if a person does not post their age in the profile, i guess they want that info private. maybe it would be better to just stay on the original topic.

maybe i should put my vote in..................... later. bye.
