I know some people who hate puns, and I know some people who love them! Whats your opinion?

I really like puns... even the terrible ones are fun to sarcastically laugh at. Once a pun starts in conversation with my family, we all continue it and it's hilarious.

I find puns to be quite enjoyable, maybe not the words that rhyme with them, but pun's are one of my favourite un words, especially to use ^^.

It was purely pun-intentional.

There was once this scientific study about puns that might make people laugh.
In the name of science some scientists had their assistants send e-mails to various people, each with ten specifically chosen puns. The recipients were then instructed to mark which puns made them laugh, then send it back.
When the lead scientist crunched the formulas and recorded all the data, it turned out
no pun in ten did.

I gererally enjoy them. In fact, I generally am the one in my family that makes them! I'm not terribly punny, but my family forgives me my awful sentence of humor.

If so those were terrible puns, I'd puns the people that created the horrible humor.

Puns are one of my favorite things. They are a sure way to brighten my spirits when I'm feeling down. :D
"Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal." 2 Corinthians 4:16-18

I'm certainly guilty of creating a few from time to time... sometimes they're more obscure and people don't get the for 15 seconds of I have to repeat it....

Also guilty of type punning at times, which is generally frowned upon...

I like buns on my cheese burgers....Oooooh! You mean Puns!
I love them puns!
When I play online with my friends I'm know as the "Pun"isher and I make puns about things like user names and things going on in a game, etc.
One of my online friends wants to take me to pun rehab (is that real? XP).

Though offline I don't tend to make nearly as many.
Now a friend of mine of the other hand, you can't say anything without him throwing out a pun or two into a conversation.
I think he's what inspired me to be punny...

To pun or not to pun?
That was a question.

Puns can be great, but sometimes lame. Good wit knowing where to place one for maximum effect. Generally speaking, I'm a big fan of puns.

Puns either have to be:

A) Extremely clever, with multiple layers of humor bound up in them

or

B) Used ironically

That's one reason I love the Colbert Report.

I like puns for the most part. Except when one is overused. Then I want to kill it.

Like 'no pun in ten did'. No offense but I've seen it too many times. I hate that phrase and the setups that precede it. XD

Hey, when timing is the main factor of your comedic style, you have to take what you can get on a chrono-static forum. XP

I used to hate puns, but now they can be funny. Mostly I just laugh at the fact that a pun has been made rather than the actual pun itself. But there are some people my friend describes as "infinite pun machines" that can sometimes be rather obnoxious.
