why did you choose your avatar? I chose mine because I really like Van Helsing. (Note: He's also in my sig, along with, the great BRUCE LEE!!!!!)

mines from Mobbile Suit Gundam: 8th MS team cause well I like the series and I thought it would be fun to turn it into a avatar (the pic that is). To be more specific, it's Shiro Amada in the 1st episode upon seeing Earth Side.

My avatar is a black mage, good old 8-bit Final Fantasy.
It has a red hat because I used to use redhat and it's different from the rest of the black mages.

Mine is Maron from Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne, a favorite series of mine. Tanemura Arina is my absolute FAVORITE manga-ka and I absolutely adore all of her work. :thumbs:

Mine is Anji the Destroyer, because he is my favorite character, from my favorite anime series (Rurouni Kenshin).

My signature is a picture of the final battle between Burning Gundam and Gundam Maxter from G Gundam. Maxter is my favorite gundam. I suppose it could also represent the conflict between east and west in my personality (or something like that...

).

My avatar is pretty much me in real life, just in animated form...honestly. No, kidding aside--its a modified picture of Gabe from Penny Arcade, one of the way older ones. I just kinda did some work to it in Paint Shop Pro 7, but really I have that style of cap and even a blue shirt like that, along with jet black hair. So um yeah.

Funny you should say that, Ren_sama. I was trying to immitate his voice the other day and my sister nearly died laughing at me. -_-

But of course mine is Hao-sama from Shaman King because I love him to pieces. He's one of my all-time favorite anime/manga characters and he's prettier than his brother. ^__^

Although I resolved to change my avatars everyweek, I decided to stick with my current one, which I enjoy the most to look at. It's a pic I drew of one the characters from one of my favourite books, "The Man who was Thursday" by GK Chesterton. I drew him (his name is Dr Bull) because it's not easy to depict any of the characters in "Thursday" because they are suggested rather than described in detail, especially the undrawable President Sunday. But Dr Bull is one of the easier ones. My signature is also from "The Man who was Thursday".

Here's the where Dr Bull appears in for the first time in "Chapter Five: The Feast of Fear"

"Right at the end sat the man called Saturday, the simplest and the most baffling of all. He was a short, square man with a dark, square face clean-shaven, a medical practitioner going by the name of Bull. He had that combination of savoir-faire with a sort of well-groomed coarseness which is not uncommon in young doctors. He carried his fine clothes with confidence rather than ease, and he mostly wore a set smile. There was nothing whatever odd about him, except that he wore a pair of dark, almost opaque spectacles. It may have been merely a crescendo of nervous fancy that had gone before, but those black discs were dreadful to Syme; they reminded him of half-remembered ugly tales, of some story about pennies being put on the eyes of the dead. Syme’s eye always caught the black glasses and the blind grin. On the younger and grosser man they seemed only an enigma. They took away the key of the face. You could not tell what his smile or his gravity meant. Partly from this, and partly because he had a vulgar virility wanting in most of the others it seemed to Syme that he might be the wickedest of all those wicked men. Syme even had the thought that his eyes might be covered up because they were too frightful to see."
